Crossover Chick

Finding the American McGee's Alice Wiki means I'm all set for pictures when it comes to my "matching wardrobes" series on Tumblr. It also means something new to browse, even though I probably have enough shit to catch up on when it comes to AMA/A:MR-related stuff.
-VD: I would say. Don't go too crazy now.-
I'll try not to, but it's fun being able to visit the trope page and suchlike. Expect major distraction for a few days, boys.

Final note of the day -- just saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (we missed it in theaters). Honestly, the film dragged on for me a bit in spots. The "traveling around in the woods" bits didn't translate too well from page to screen. But the action sequences were pretty good (especially Ron versus Horcrux) and I liked the visual style they used to illustrate the Three Brothers story. :) It wasn't bad, but I think Part 2's gonna be better because it has the actual climax. We'll see.

I'm not accusing you of smelling, I'm just curious! I've heard stuff like Queen Victoria bathed but once a year, and the wedding stuff I found earlier hinted at an annual bath, but is that honest-to-God historical fact? GOOGLE IS BEING UNHELPFUL, AS IS WIKIPEDIA.

Finally, Twitter appears to be the new drug of choice for Rifters. Tay and Matt got one last night, and now there's been an explosion of the things. It's kind of weird to be AHEAD of the curve for one of these memes.

Yeah, he got it not too long after he got his LJ. It's a fun little site, granted.

I'm considering it. I just wish there was a Twitter Login feature for Firefox, like the LJ one. That would be cool.

I've finished Chapter One! :D Now the real meat of the story comes in. Word count for said chapter:

I'm aiming for roughly 2,000 words a day. Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm thinking it'll be like this -- the time machines are always set to go to Hill Valley. Since there isn't one in the Americas in your world, it defaults to the Europa Wulfenbach one. Flimsy explanation, I know, but this is a NaNoWriMo fic -- word count is more important than plot.
-HD: That's a rather backwards way of looking at things. I heartily approve.-
Glad to hear it. I still need to figure out just who he's picking up, of course. It's 1990 when he arrives -- guess my best bet is to check the timeline and see who'd still be active.
-D: You know, you could probably have him jump around in time as well as dimensions to get just the villians you want.-
