crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Mostly because post-work was shoe-shopping adventures with Mom! I needed some summer-appropriate shoes, so she agreed to pick me up from work so we could visit DSW. Though as it happened, my coworkers met her outside (they were doing a thing, I'm not sure what) and she came in for a few minutes to visit and get a look at the place. Was surprised at how big it was -- I guess it looks smaller from the outside? *shrug*

Anyway, managed to score two pairs of sandals (though one's kind of more like shoes) for $50, so that was nice. Hooray for clearance stickers! We also visited Newbury's so I could see about new BTTF comics -- the latest of the current storyline wasn't available, but I was able to get the Telltale Games adaptation! Which. . .is actually looking kinda disappointing, as they've REALLY pared the story down and changed a lot of what I loved about the game. . . I'll give more thoughts once I've done more than skim through it. And then there was a trip to the nicest Stop & Shop we've ever been to, where we got supper (pastrami sandwiches, om nom) and were introduced to a new cheese, Double Gloucester. It's basically an English cheddar that tastes richer and creamier than most. We ended up getting a half-pound for various purposes. :) So that was cool.

And then it was onto home, and 1988 Whose Line -- which is weird, but still funny. (I am anticipating the day they drop the "Authors" game, though. It's really just "who can witter on longest in the funniest voice.") And then massive catching up on tumblr -- had to skip writing altogether today, sadly, just to make sure I had everything settled there. :( At least a long weekend is upon us and I can make up for lost ground. Just hope I haven't killed my momentum on "In The Land of the Dead. . ."

Well, here's hoping. In the meantime, I need to throw up one last reply, then hit the sheets. Night all!
