Very Average Wednesday

The CAP website is as sorted as it's going to get, at least for the moment, so that's out of my hair. Of course, now there's the expo coming up, but that's not for a few weeks yet, so. . .the rest of the day was the usual "find this person's been duplicated, discover this person has died, put this money here and that money there" stuff. Not precisely the most exciting stuff in the world.

Somewhat more interesting is the fact that I have indeed managed to finish up editing Chapter 1 of "In The Land of the Dead!" It's lost a page in length thanks to me changing things, but it should be better overall. So I'll see about getting that up for tomorrow evening/Friday tumblr queuing. Nice to see this all coming together.

Not much else to say, really -- it's quiet just about everywhere, so I really should try to make it an early night. Sleep tight, all!

I only just now re-read the entirety of "Losing You" days after you posted it. I feel bad. *hangs head* I found one thing in the last chapter, though.

"You need help, Victor," William added, shaking his head. "It's not healthy to cling to this fantasy for so long. Look what it's doing to poor Pastor Galswells. Man can barely get through a sermon without twitching. And what about Mrs. Cartwell, may she rest in peace? Your little 'adventure' didn't do her much good."

I think maybe you mean Carter since Cartwell is Emily's last name?

Ngl, I got a little teary when Victor was in the woods saying goodbye. Also I kind of want to punch his parents but that's nothing new, lol.

Looking forward to the "In the Land of the Dead" rewrite. :)

*patpat* It's fine -- I know you're busy (especially with that sidewalk mess happening in front of your house -- hope they finish soon!). Glad you enjoyed it still! Yeah, Victor's goodbye to Emily put a lump in my throat too. And who doesn't want to punch his parents at this point, seriously. . .

*facepalms at Carter/Cartwell mixup* What I get for having two characters with similar names. . . *runs around and corrects it* There, that's better.
