Not because I had a sandwich for lunch (leftover Chinese, actually), but because TWO people in my office had catered lunch meetings and thus there are many leftovers. More fruit than sandwiches, but I still managed to claim one as a free lunch tomorrow. This pleases me. :) Always nice to have something a little different.

Also nice -- the first chapter of the Blu-Ray edition "In The Land of the Dead" is up! Read it on on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website! It hits pretty much all the same points as the unedited version, but is a lot better at showing instead of telling. At least, that's my hope. Work on Chapter 2 will start tomorrow, though I don't think I can promise it being up in time for next Friday. Ah well, I'll go as fast as I can. Want to get this all cleaned up and ready to go!

Not much else to say about today except that it was chillier than I would have liked -- temperatures at the beginning and end of the day were dipping back into the 50s. :( Darn it, it's JUNE -- it's time for it to just stay warm! At least tomorrow's supposed to be better on that front, if cloudier. And Saturday's supposed to be beautiful -- keep your fingers crossed!

And now it's time to finish up a few final tags -- night all!

Is sleeping in separate rooms a Victorian thing? Personally it sounds like a good idea to me. If Ed and I didn't sleep in the same bed I wouldn't have to deal with the snoring. XD But he's like "no, that's not what married couples do". -.-

So this bit:

Lizzie looked ready to argue that point. Lorina touched her shoulder. "You want to see your sister again, don't you?"

"Actually, no, but. . . ." Lizzie swallowed and stepped back. "Just – be careful, Papa. Just in case –
he didn't make it out in time either."

She doesn't want to see her just because that would mean Alice was dead, too, right? I first read it early this morning and it wasn't sitting in my brain right.

Now I have one last comment and I don't want to sound mean or anything like that when I say it. So here goes...Is it necessary to tell that Arthur and Lorina did it before they died? Personally I don't think it adds anything to the story, but don't forget I don't experience those kinds of feelings so maybe I'm just not understanding. Be gentle when answering this one...
