Went fairly smoothly -- I was nervous during my big presentation at the beginning, but everyone said I didn't look it, so yay there. I also got a good lunch out of the deal, complete with mini-chocolate cake-thing at the end. And I got to come home early again, though this time my bus was five minutes late instead of slightly early. Meh -- still, got home in time to do some writing. Though not on the next chapter of "In The Land of the Dead" -- my friend Nebby has come up with a new AU based on the conceit of "what if the fire happened two years earlier, Lizzie escaped but got amnesia from the trauma, was somehow picked up by the Van Dorts, and Nell bullied William into fake-adopting her and renaming her Anna?" Yes, it's kinda weird, but it's inspired some interesting fic snippets: Part One (with my commentary) and Parts Two, Three, and Four (straight from the source). So I ended up writing my own little bit with Victor and Alice when Victor sees Alice's family portrait -- thinking of posting it on Friday. Bet Nebby will get a kick out of it, at any rate.
