Slightly Less Hot Wednesday

crossover_chickMostly less humid, which really does make a big difference, though it did still get pretty damn warm in Providence. But at least it wasn't the kind of heat that sticks to you and makes it impossible to move. And this weekend's looking to be almost cool, thanks to some thunderstorms and such moving in and the heat dome finally breaking. We'll see, though.
Not much to say -- day was largely spent with obituaries and a few split-gift checks. And catching up on various messages and the like. Also started on the new version of Chapter 9 of "In The Land of the Dead" -- starting off in Sandford this time! I decided I wanted to show Lizzie, Bonejangles, and company hiring the cab that would take them to Burtonsville. I've also really compacted the timeline, since in this version they're traveling as direct as possible -- it will be, at most, the first couple days of August when they arrive in Burtonsville. This will probably lead to Lizzie being twitchy about having to wait until the end of October to see her sister via the spell, but it happening on October 31st is kinda necessary thanks to the other parts of the story already written, so -- yeah. I'm sure I'll make it work.
Right now, though, I have a few last-minute messages to do before hitting the sack -- one more day of work before my three-day weekend! :) Night all!
