As told in list form:

-->Woke up after a pretty solid eight hours of sleep, had a nice banana muffin for breakfast

-->Wrote a nice chunk on "In The Land of the Dead" -- Scraps now appears in Elder Gutknecht's tower, being his usual cute self

-->Played the Pancakes family in The Sims 4 so I could a) reset the continuous clock for my other families (I generally like to start their day around 5:30/6:00 AM, but I'd accidentally let it run to 8 AM with Emmett) and b) confirm that we have a clothing store in Magnolia Promenade (we do!) Eliza got herself a kicking new outfit, and I'll be going in to that lot later to see if I can set it up for Alice to buy her wedding dress there. I mean, yes, I know clothes can be bought directly through CAS now, but it'd be more fun for her and Victor to at least wander around the shop.

-->Watched the Nostalgia Critic's review of the 2016 Ghostbusters (which was largely about mocking the way the audience has developed a "Love it or Hate It" attitude). Didn't agree with all his points (for example, he found the logo joke unfunny, I thought it was great), though I do agree that the editing seems to have snipped out some important parts (most particularly, Erin actually TAKING her ten-minute retirement -- she separates from the team after the false arrest, but we don't actually see her getting fed up with how she's being treated by mayor and the city). Ironically, he did exactly what he was complaining about in the review, though, snipping out the bit where the villain actually kills himself (that's important, Doug!).

-->Watched Linkara's review of a Star Trek: Voyager comic -- his annoyance with the stupider parts, plus his buddy SF Debris voicing Janeway occasionally, was most amusing. :)

-->Caught up on tumblr, then fiddled around with reading fanfics for a while (GB16 has some good stuff, I gotta say)

-->Commissioned my friend Ally (poesdaughter on tumblr) for a $15-buck GB-themed Victor and Alice piece -- she's struggling to pay her bills atm and thus has tarot card readings and art commissions open. I don't know much about tarot, but considering she drew some of the first pieces of Valice fanart I ever got. . . Here's her post if you're interested

-->Watched some of the 4th Sharknado movie with supper, as SyFy was doing a marathon and Mom and Dad were watching it -- these movies just keep getting more and more insane, I swear. Also, discovered this series shares a universe with another monster movie franchise (well, two movies so far) called "Lavalantula" -- about lava tarantulas. There's a character that appears in both and specifically mentions fighting spiders in the 4th Sharknado. So basically all the poor people who live in this particular world are fucked. XD

-->Wandered around TV Tropes for a bit

-->Watched (or, well, listened) to Helloween interview a fellow Metroid fan about the stuff said fan is doing for the series' 30th anniversary. I'm not a Metroid fan myself, but hearing Helloween get all gushy about it is so sweet. :) And he probably considers it a nice break from getting scared out of his wits by good horror games, or getting ragey over bad ones. XD

-->Currently doing RP things on Forgotten Vows's account

So yeah, it's been a pretty good day! Don't like how hot and sticky it got in the afternoon, but I've got AC, so I'm good. Just being able to do a bunch of things I enjoy, and get the promise of something else cool coming up. . . I needed something like this after how annoying the past week has been.

And right now, I need a snack, so off into the humidity I go for a moment. Night all!

Apparently August 7th is Friendship Day so I wanted to say Happy it before it ended. :)
