Well Hello Red Curse My Old "Friend"

Got it almost the moment I woke up this morning -- fortunately it waited until I was already on the toilet to properly start, so no ruined clothes today, yay. Did mean that I felt tired, chilly, and generally "blah" pretty much all day today. Fortunately I can get up a bit later tomorrow, and I have a day of walking outside and free food as opposed to sitting around an office. Yay!

Had the usual driving lesson today -- slowly getting better at this "parking" thing. Just trying to learn how and when to turn the wheel so I'll go in straight and not block anybody else. It's all coming together, I suppose -- I just need to practice the hell out of all of it.

Writing's going okay, though it's always tough for me to be at my creative best during the red curse. Got a page on the new Chapter 14 though, and I'm up to Bumby being confronted by Lizzie and Bonejangles, so that's something. And I get a three-day weekend coming up to really play around with it as necessary, so that's good. :)

And that's about it, though I'm discovering a strange new fondness for my Halloween AUs over on my tumblrs. . . I mean, no surprise I like the dark stuff around this time of year, but I keep thinking about how nice it would be for them to cross over and comfort each other. . . Apparently the brotherly dynamic I've got for Forgotten Vows and Butterfly Boy in my head is apparently just as well suited for the version of Forgotten who's a murderous vigilante and the version of Butterfly Boy who's an insane wreck. My brain, ladies and gentlemen.

And I do need to get to sleep, because even though I can get up a little later I shouldn't stay up all night. See ya!

A Hysteria Alice for you. There was also a Cardbridge Alice but I lost her in the sea of people.

Nice, tanku! :D And on the anniversary of American McGee's Alice, no less. :) I assume by Cardbridge Alice you mean Royal Suit -- red dress with long gloves and card symbols?

I believe so. It was as we were walking in and I spotted her out of the corner of my eye and I wasn't sure if it was Alice or not until I saw the symbols on the apron. The dress was red and black and I was like "Okay, where'd she wear that? Cardbridge? . Eh...V would know." I wanted to ask for a picture but they kept us moving. I was hoping I'd see her inside but even on a Thursday it was crowded.

For Hysteria I saw her walking by and, again, I looked for the symbols on the apron to verify. When I saw them I called out "Alice!" and she turned and I asked for a picture and she said yes.

LOL, yes I did -- and you're close, it's actually the Queensland dress, right after Cardbridge. When she lands in Cardbridge itself, she's in her classic blue dress. Not surprised it was crowded; those events always are from what I understand. I'm glad you were at least able to get a picture of Hysteria Alice! :)

I saw your picture with Nichelle Nichols too -- cool beans. :) I hope Antoinette's feeling better tomorrow and you can make your other photo op! *fingers crossed*

[reads through] Oh dear -- well, I'm glad Antoinette isn't seriously sick, and that you got a good photo op in the end, even if it wasn't the original one you wanted. And that you were able to not only get a picture with the Rangers, but also offer them horseback-riding trips. XD
