Just started. Bleck.
-D: *gives careful hug*-
Aww, tanku.
Anyway, here's the pictures of the house:
Outside Walls Up
Upstairs Walls Cutaway
Downstairs Walls Down
Hope you all like it. Guys?
-M: Wow, that does look cool!-
-VD: I second that. Very nice job.-
Tanku. Here's a room breakdown:
Ground Floor: The two towers on the left (facing the screen) are both bathrooms. The front long from is a combined living/dining room. The front tower on the right is the kitchen. The back room on the left is the adult bedroom. The back room on the right is the magic-making room. The back tower on the right is the awards room.
Upstairs: Both towers are kids' rooms. :P

Wow! That's a real cool house! I rather enjoy building sim houses. It's very relaxing. I also "remodel" existing houses too.

I can't say it enough. Your fanfiction is great! :)

Thanks

I wasn't aware you (or George McFly Au) had livejournals, so hi!
I like building Sim houses myself. I've never been totally satisfied with all-Maxis productions, so most of my neighborhoods have at least one lot in all the community places (Down Town, Old Town, etc.) that I've built and customized. Some of the places do need some serious remodeling.
However, it took me quite a while to get this castle built. It's my first Magic Town residential lot (there's three lots you can move a family into) and I overestimated the size of the building grid. It took me a few days to finalize a house design that fit! As it is, the towers are brushing up against the grid's edges. (I learned from a Studio Town lot I made not to build outside of the grid using move_objects on. The walls disappear in neighborhood mode then.) Most of the plants have been placed outside the grid with move_objects on cheat. The roof also looks weird in any form except flat, which is probably because I have stairs going up to octogonal towers. Since I don't play with the roof on, though, I don't worry about it.
Thanks for the compliment on my fan fiction *blush*. I'm still working on them. Maybe some of the new Reality Check can go up soon. . . .

Basically, I'm a newcomer to livejournal. But I have been reading yours since I learned of it. ;)

Thanks for the update on the upcoming fic (Reality Check). I await it expectantly yet patiently. :)
