crossover_chickAnd #2, and #3, and #4, and -- yeah, I guess it stops there because I'm not counting return trips and the next time they time travel it's already October 27th. :P So yeah, first day of the timeline getting mucked around with! A surprisingly appropriate day to receive the BTTF comics I ordered from BTTF.net. The first one is a one-shot about Needles, showing the beginning of his and Marty's rivalry and how he went from "kid who might have had a decent heart somewhere to kind of a douchebag." Marty actually tried to be nice to this guy, but to no avail. And yes, he always had that stupid haircut. XD The second one is actually relevant to the day itself -- Marty discovering his memories don't match what happened in the new timeline, and getting anxious about it. Features him having a pretty interesting chat with George, who ALMOST guesses what's happened to him because he's such a sci-fi nerd. . .at this point, I want George in on the secret. He'd be such a fanboy. XD
Also today -- Dee's birthday! Or, at least, the one she chose for herself. For those interested, you may attend here. Nothing too crazy, though I had fun playing with the whole "Doc and Dee's birthdays are practically on top of each other" angle. XD
In non-BTTF news, not a heck of a lot. Did some editing on Chapter 3, tweaking and changing and trying to make sure said tweaks and changes are good. Scrambling right now to properly catch up on my tumblr -- also need to get my next queued posts up. From really quiet to really busy -- isn't that always the way? So I'd better get back on that if I want any chance of a decent night's sleep tonight. Sure wish I had my own time machine sometimes. . . Good night! Remember, the future is what you make of it!
