Slippery Sunday

A) not really being able to concentrate enough this morning to get any good writing done (not even on little shortfics nobody but me will likely see! I got SOMETHING down, but it was pretty rough)
B) nearly forgetting to post Day Three of "A Week of Secundus Christmas" on my website! Fortunately I remembered just before my shower and got it up in time on my blog: read it here! Hell, I even had time to edit it slightly to remove some awkward phrasing from the original. Might as well have a better version on the site.
Apart from that, been a pretty nice Sunday:
-->Watched another set of Helloween's old SH3 LP (the plot remains fairly wobbly, but can't fault the creepiness), and his current Castlevania: Symphony of the Night set (running around the upside-down castle with awesome high-jump-land-on-ceiling boots, beating the crap out of death, just barely destroying our doppleganger, and having our ass kicked repeatedly by one really hard lightning boss before finally reducing him to shattered pieces). There was also Drunk Helloween taking on a poor port of a mobile zombie-fighting game (which was probably pretty shitty on iPhones and Androids too) and being the world's worst pickpocket in Skyrim. XD His next venture is doing the Dark Souls 3 DLC -- looking forward to that this Saturday!
-->Also watched Zero Punctuation take on Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare; while he's not really a fan of either, he preferred the former for making better use of its sci-fi setting plotwise. Mostly the video was him coming up with new punny names for the two titles. :P
-->Had another long drive, this time up the highway -- Mom and I went to the Westerly Job Lot to pick up some Christmas gift supplies. Was hoping to get Dad's present there too, but no such luck. . . Getting more used to switching lanes and passing people now -- had to, honestly, we got behind some slooow people. This week we'll probably be working on parallel parking and more backing up stuff. Kinda depends on if the traffic's any better, though. . .

-->Played Vampire: The Masquerade -- Bloodlines -- Harry the Gangrel visited The Asylum briefly to dance and have a chat with the new Therese/Jeanette combo (since I've never seen Helloween talk to the character after the big quest about them), then it was off to Hollywood! With its absolutely wonderful background music, seriously I love it. . . Anyway, I set myself to getting the first main quest done to get it out of the way -- retrieved Isaac's video tape, watched a girl get gruesomely killed, you know the deal. I also ran into the character's mortal friend, and managed to botch getting her to believe I was someone else -- so now I have a Masquerade Violation. Ooops. In fact, I even had a stalker for a while -- she kept following Harry around! Managed to shake her by going into the cemetery, but damn. Well, I'd rather have the Masquerade violation than her death on my conscience -- besides, completing the second main quest will wipe it. Hell, one of Venus's should clear it up, in fact -- but that's for next time.
And now, back to work tomorrow. . . Full week too. Bleh. But it has to be done if I want to keep earning a paycheck. . .and it's not like I don't have other four-day weekends coming up. Christmas Is Coming, after all. . . Night!
