Romantic Sims

crossover_chickI played two neighborhoods today -- OddsNFriends and SimGod. Both had some nice romance going on. First, I did OddsNFriends and moved Shandy and Purplewear into their new house. They wandered around, applauding the various things -- then Purplewear spotted my Vivicano (sp) roses and decided to give a flower to somebody. I quickly canceled Shandy's next action and watched as Purple gave him roses and kissed him. *squee* That's a rare interaction, and I'm happy to have seen it. Shandy also grabbed an entertainment job, which is good.
-M: That's cute. Maybe now she doesn't have to join my harem.-
At any rate, she'll be making regular Shandy trips. :p
Then, it was back to SimGod to prepare everyone for their move. I went over the Magibud castle and saw about getting Marie to come over. The first time, she said no, but the second time, she said she would and promptly showed up. James (who has gotten an animal care career and has made it to Sheep Custodian) wasted no time. They chatted for a bit, then James Hypnotized her into a passionate kiss, Got her Happy, and Lovestrucked her. Marie tried to give him another firey kiss, but he refused. I made him give her a passionate one, then cast some Relationship Boost to make sure everything was nice and high. After letting her use the toilet, he said goodbye.
Next day, James goes to work, comes home, calls Marie. Marie agrees to come over and brings VampDoc. James Gets her Happy, then uses The Big Question. Bam -- Marie Brown is Marie Magibud.
-VD: I take it I 'gave her away,' so to speak.-
hehe. Marie said her thanks and goodbyes to VampDoc while James peed and bathed. Then I evicted them from the house. They'll build a new place back in the regular hood. I'm tempted to move in the Spenglers too, just to let them build up money to buy the Browns' old place.
-D: It might be a good idea, unless you plan to rosebud them.-
Don't want rosebud for them. I'll put them into one of the economy houses. Then I'll get working on moving VampDoc in with Chris, then moving Chris out.
-J: Sounds complicated.-
I'll be breaking it up with trips to OddsNFriends -- move in LonePineKath and get her with Marty, give all the Doc's Girls--
-D: *whimper* *puppy dog eyes*-
Ah -- awwwww.
-VD: That won't distract her forever.-
-D: I'll take whatever I can get.-
