crossover_chick: Victor on the ground with one hand up with the text "Nooo! Anything but the fangirls!" (CB: save Victor from the fangirls!)

And I do have to go back to work tomorrow (back to reality, sigh), so I'll give you the highlights of yesterday and today:

-->Got another page of "Secundus 2" done on Sunday, with Gordon and Buford meeting each other, and neither being particularly impressed. If only another villainous soul hadn't convinced them to work together -- Victor and company would have had a much more pleasant trip to Hill Valley. Even with the mayor being a dick. Today was another section rewritten on "Fixing You" -- a trip to Looking-Glass Land to watch a match between the Whites and the Reds. Had some fun writing it all devolving into chaos. XD Hopefully all the readers like Alice in the Land of the Dead and Victor in Wonderland as much as I do! (What am I saying, it's the thing everybody's been asking for for AGES.)

-->Watched a BUNCH of YouTube videos -- the end of the Doki Doki Literature Club and some fun stuff in the newest Yandere Simulator build from the Kubz Scouts; Andy and Mike from OXBox taking on the Resident Evil 7 DLC starring Chris Redfield; the latest Evil Within 2 (spooky predictable laboratory that had Helloween spreading the salt) and Donkey Kong Country 2 (Helloween suffers greatly from both a cold and a surprisingly hard bee-themed level) from Hells, along with a special Warframe New Year's video (one of those co-op fighting games where you all team up to defend a target from something and other such missions).

-->Played Sims 4 on Sunday -- Alice has finally transformed into a vampire! Unfortunately, I was deeply frustrated by my inability to properly edit her Dark Form (trying to go in via both the dresser and the mirror's "Change Sim" options didn't yield the full options for doing so -- I couldn't change her skin details, nor add fangs (though I could change her eyes)) -- to the point where I quit out without saving TWICE looking for answers. I finally found them via Googling -- turns out you can edit families you're playing in CAS if you go through the "Manage Households" option, which FINALLY gave me all the options I needed for getting Alice's Dark Form the way I wanted it. (It also looked like I could change Victor's skin tone to the proper super-pale one he's supposed to have! I hesitated, since I wasn't sure if it would let me, and if I wanted to save that for when he too becomes a vampire -- but maybe next time I go into the game. . .) Anyway, Alice's Dark Form now looks Hysteria-Mode-ish, as I liked -- and I got the pleasure of seeing Victor mesmerized as she compelled him for a quick drink as her first vampiric meal. Good times!

-->Played BioShock 2 today -- suffered another crash. *sigh* On the plus side, I'm getting better at using trap rivets against my enemies, and I was able to hack a turret secretly to take care of two Splicers without them ever knowing I was there. Now if only I could stop them occasionally sneaking up on me! *grumble* I also got Incinerate at long last -- hooray fire! Less hooray Big Sister coming at me mere moments after I get it. Though I didn't actually fight her today -- Dad knocked on my door to call me to dinner pretty much the moment she leapt out. So I'll be facing her next weekend from an earlier save. *already wondering if I can cheese the fight slightly by seeing if I can stick some trap rivets where she'll be*

-->Mom wired up the arms of my new Victor and Alice dolls -- now they're a bit more poseable! I took advantage of it to make them look like they were gaming earlier tonight and sent her the pictures. I'm going to have to put them up here at some point too. . .she's also now talking about putting wires in their legs so they can bend their knees and such. I'm all for it. :) I took them out with me to watch Home Alone (still a very funny movie) and see the ball drop. Yeah, I know, I'm weird, but so is my Mom -- she has a sock monkey named Ian and a Barbar toy she likes to pose for silly pictures too. So at least I come by it honestly.

-->Weather remains freaking cold. It's supposed to at least start getting up above single digits for midweek. . .right up until we get snow on Thursday. And then Friday's right back down again. Ugh. I got my white Christmas -- I am already ready for spring. Bleh.

Right now, though, I have to be ready for work, so time to hit the sheets! Hopefully it won't be too much of a shock to transition back to my usual schedule. . . Night all! Let's keep our fingers crossed 2018 is a vast improvement on the year before!
