So. My supervisor's on medical leave for at least a month. Only found this out today from the main boss of the department. Me and my coworkers are a bit rattled, especially given the extra work from the capital campaign going on. No clue yet who's going to handle her duties -- I know how to do a few things, but I never knew everything she did. I don't think any of us did.

So we're down two people this week, one person for the rest of the month, the tension in the air at work is palpable, and I'm just -- *sigh* Just gonna keep doing my job, I suppose. What else can I do? Besides desperately look forward to the weekend.

Okay, other things I managed to do:

-->Wrote some more on my personal comfort story scene thing (because that's what I do when I'm stressed -- turn to purely self-indulgent AUs)

-->Leave a review on a fic I've been meaning to leave for a while (and then had to shorten it because turns out I'd gone over the character limit -- didn't realize AO3 had one)

-->Answer the stuff in my inbox

-->Queue up some more stuff on VictorLuvsAlice, and did a very hefty queue over on TheValiceMultiverse (thanks largely to a ton of anon questions)

-->Let a friend on tumblr go on about their OC at me

-->Watched some funny videos (a "Fun With Shorts" about fair play; a Deligracy Sims 4 build challenge where she wasn't allowed to move anything after she placed it, which led to the rather awkward situation of her putting a couch in front of the fridge; and the classic "Half Life: Full Life Consequences" video because apparently it's the tenth anniversary today)

So that's something. Right now, though, I really need to hit the sheets. See what tomorrow brings. *deep breath* G'night, all!
