Still Having Distracted Evenings

I swear, I keep meaning to do certain things, and then. . . I'd like to blame my job, but it wasn't too bad a Monday -- some stressful moments (reports coming due, having to walk my supervisor through something, meetings later in the week), but ultimately not nearly as horrible as last Monday was. (Even if one of my coworkers, previously out on a vacation, now is out with the flu.) I'm just too easily seduced down the path of "ooh, this looks interesting. . ."

BUT! Things I accomplished:

-->Getting back into my schedule at last with another page on "Fixing You!" I don't know how good a page it is, but I'm back on the wagon! Time to keep up the good work tomorrow with "Secundus 2!"

-->Watching a fun OXBox video about finishing moves in fighting games (well, mostly fun -- there was a bit of gross stuff because some of these games are gory, but nothing that should give me nightmares)

-->Getting another part of my four-part Sims 4 post this Wednesday written up and in the queue -- gotta do the next two tomorrow! At least I have all the pictures drafted so I can just slap on captions and go from there.

Not too much, but I'm still proud of it. Slowly but surely working my way back toward my preferred productive state.

Another part of that -- getting to bed a little earlier. Less tired more do things, after all. So yeah -- heading to bed with my new nonskippy CD player. Night all!

I'm finally doing an editing pass over the giftfic and I'm adding a few things. I need to know how far Ferdy's stable is from the house and is there any open space near said stable (like open grassland).

Sure, ask me about things I've never seriously thought about. :p I've never imagined Ferdy's stable being that far from the house -- they do live in suburbia, after all, or the closest equivalent in Secundus. The Van Dorts do have a fairly big yard, though. I couldn't give you exact dimensions if you held a gun to my head, but it's big enough for Ferdy to have a bit of a romp in. Say the stable borders the back end of the yard and that Ferdy can definitely take off from it.

So...yeah. Hopefully it didn't veer too far into goofy territory, though I will tell you I never thought I'd ever have to ask Google "Do butterflies poop", lol.

Awww, I like it! I don't think it went too goofy, though I admit, I'm not always the best at telling. Then again, considering I'm the main audience. . . And LOL, yes, you Google the strangest things for writing purposes. . . But yeah, it was nice to see Ferdy's perspective on the whole thing, and get a look at how he's dealing. Poor Victor -- he really doesn't want to neglect his pets, but -- well, baby. At least Lisa can act as a good go-between.

Yay~ :) And LOL -- well, it's probably good for me to consider these things, in case I need them for my own fics. I just wish I was better at dimensions. . .
