Kind Of Another One Of Those Days

crossover_chickOne of my coworkers just informed me she gave her notice, so -- that was nice. Obviously she's not leaving right away, but still. Just another blow to the system we had going at work. . . Dad was talking about how you can't expect things to always be the same and sometimes change is good, but -- ugh. I'm just buckling down, doing what I can each day, trying to keep on top of all of my projects. Got a lot of reports to run tomorrow, for starters. And that damn CAP batch to make up. . . One day at a time, Vic, one day at a time.
Got some more progress on "Fixing You" done, though -- starting to get back into a routine there. Up to the big revelation about why Victor kept getting periodically attacked by Slithering Ruins during his trip into Wonderland. Also got my queue on VictorLuvsAlice settled for the next couple of days, which is good. Hooray not having to worry about updates for a bit. I even found the time to watch a few things on my "watch later" list -- the next episode of "Wags To Riches" (James, in his desperation to feel the love with more pets, ended up accidentally adopting a ghost cat), and a Hitman escalation mission from the OXBox team (Andy successfully pulling off a difficult sniper mission largely through knocking out his targets and shooting them point-blank with the sniper rifle XD). Nice to have a bit of time to do that.
Now, though, it is time to go to bed. Gonna try and be rested for whatever tomorrow brings. Hopefully something good for a change. . . Ugh, I really need this upcoming weekend. Hopefully this time I can fit in writing, videos, AND games.
