crossover_chickHad to spend a good chunk of my day fixing something with one of my projects (as usual, people are matched up with IDs that are definitely NOT them), but I DID get a bunch of stuff done regardless, including starting those darn weekly reports. So that's something. Finish those off tomorrow, then I'm going to try out the online database of pledge cards we now have from our processing company. Hopefully that'll be useful! I've got a pile of old maintenance from them I've been afraid to act on because so many times changing a parish or a name has bit us in the butt. . .
On the homeward side of things:
-->Got another page on "Secundus 2" -- my characters are being rambly again; good thing it's the first draft! Clara keeps trying to ask questions or explain things, and keeps getting sidetracked, poor woman. At least she gets food out of it because they were all at a picnic when she got rescued in this verse.
-->Watched Helloween and Klyka's latest Resident Evil 6 set (which involved a crashing plane full of zombies, a brief team-up with another campaign's duo, a triple-locked door which sets up a contrived puzzle in an open Chinese market -- oh yes we're in China now -- and Leon obsessing over Ada Wong. One commenter's comment about bad fanfiction felt RIGHT on the money), and Helloween talking about and showing off the recent Secret Of Mana remake (says it's still really fun, quite faithful to the original, has some great new additions such as better partner AI -- but it's also extremely crashy and buggy, so he can't recommend buying it right away unless you're a super-fan like him). Good times!
-->Also caught another episode of Free Random Games from Jay, which included a truly awful game with some sort of weirdly awful scene that Jay actually had to blur out, and a surprisingly thoughtful game about someone dealing with chronic fatigue.
-->Got another "Imagine Me and You" short posted The Perfect Name, about why I went with "Emma Elizabeth" for their first daughter's name. (Although the conversation actually takes place while Alice is pregnant with Chester, as of course they don't know that he's a boy at the time.)
-->Did my Valice Multiverse and VictorLuvsAlice queues done, hooray! Always nice to have things set for an little while, posting-wise.
And now I should get to bed, as I do still have another day of work to get through. But after that, three-day weekend! :D During which it might snow! D: Ugh. . .well, it is still February. Just keep your fingers crossed we don't get slammed! Night all!
