crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

At least, that's what it felt like today -- I spent most of the day on the Weekly Parish Reports while requests for other things started piling up in my inbox. It's like -- am I seriously the ONLY person you can ask for this stuff?! Good thing most of what was asked for is intended to be completed next week. . .on the other hand, that means a very busy week next week. Ugh. Well, I can only do what I can. . .doesn't help that I keep getting an on-and-off headache. Not helped today by a horrible smell in the office. >( Hoping the long weekend will help sort that out.

Evening has been rather more pleasant:

-->Got another page on "Fixing You" -- one of those days where I had some specific images in my head, but getting them into words was a bit tricky. Managed eventually, though I suspect I'll be fiddling with it later. My Silent Burtonsville now has more of a Silent Hill: Downpour vibe (aka I've traded a foggy aesthetic for a rainy one), and I've created an even creepier thing for Victor and Alice to run from than just a wave of Slithering Ruins and Puppet-Hand Spiders. Writing!

-->Watched some Yandere Simulator Myths (including a fun new dead-alive glitch) and a "Make Me Laugh: Now With Me Holding Water In My Mouth!" challenge (ended how you might expect -- water all over EVERYTHING) from Jay, which was nice. Needed a good laugh.

-->Watched Helloween's latest SH2 set -- the Historical Society! Which is actually a prison? Or, well, it's built ABOVE the prison, and James has to fall down many deep holes to access it, and everything is gribbly and weird and Eddie has a gun and there are SO MANY FREAKING CREEPY SOUNDS YOUR NAME IS SILENT HILL BY GOD -- er, yeah. Good set, though! Poor Helloween is getting seriously freaked, which doesn't happen a lot.

And the rest of my time has been catching up on the usual websites and making a short detour onto TV Tropes. Typical Friday night stuff. Good way to unwind, certainly. But now I need to answer some stuff before I think about hitting the sheets. Night all! We'll see how Saturday turns out.
