Just nice to have it off, though. No need to do anything in particular but hang out and have some fun. Which, in my case resulted in:

-->Another chunk on "Fixing You" -- got the pair out of the woods and up to the Church of Broken Hearts. Imagery seems to be getting steadily creepier as I rewrite, which I suppose isn't really that surprising (especially given Helloween's playing the classic Silent Hill 2 nowadays and inspiring me). Next up -- the Ruined Barkis fight!

-->Watched a Simmer's video on some of the upcoming stuff on Sims 4, including community fears that any upcoming seasons would be somehow locked to a single world -- SimGurus have assured us that will not be the case. Hopefully that means we'll get seasons sometime this year! Would be nice for my Sims to have real weather again.

-->Watched some more Deligracy videos! First was a matched pair of "house recreation" challenges between her and James (one on her channel, one on The Sim Supply) where they had to try to recreate a house found online in Sims 4, then furnish it and landscape the lot nicely. The first one I saw, on Deli's channel, I think James did the better build, but Deli had nicer landscaping; the second, on James's, Deli had the better house in general (although this is partly because James realized halfway through his build of the unusually-shaped house that he'd put a section facing the wrong way and had to go back and redo it). Second was a throwback video where she took a look back at Sims 1 and talked about her own early Sim experiences -- I was pleasantly surprised to discover she too used to play SimTown! (For those not in the know, SimTown was basically the "kiddie" version of SimCity, with a resource management mechanic. I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.) Also like me, her favorite Sims 1 expansion pack was Makin' Magic. Damn, but that makes me wish we had proper magic in the current game. . .maybe that's why I like having a vampire Sim so much right now. It's a taste of supernatural power, w000~

-->Played a bit of BioShock 2 -- I've advanced the plot a little bit and now am looking for a code in a high-class brothel so I can open a door to go after Simon Wales. I have died repeatedly to Splicers managing to catch me by surprise and by incredibly tough Rumbler Big Daddies. *grumbles* Managed to finally kill the latter and get me a new Little Sister in the end, though. Parked myself in a private office in the Pink Pearl -- gonna go on some Gathering missions before I find that code and progress any further. See if I can use those damn mini-turrets that keep getting thrown at me on someone else for a change.

-->Watched the latest "Atop the Fourth Wall" episode -- the final issue of the first volume of Youngblood! Which Linkara was disgusted by because of all the usual "it's awfully written and awfully drawn" reasons, but also because -- well, there's a shock-value suicide scene in it. Linkara doesn't actually show the scene in his review, but MAN, does he tear apart what he thinks the reasoning for including it was. You could tell Genuinely Pissed Off Lewis was making an appearance there. And he's got to do MORE Youngblood-related stuff next week, poor guy, thanks to turning all his text reviews into videos. *hugs him* Hopefully soon he can move back into better comics!

-->Watched both of Helloween's latest sets: Resident Evil 6 (things are SO CONFUSING, but the current state of things is the head of national security is now a Beastformer BOW with a bone machinegun (no seriously) and a bioweapon was released into a Chinese city causing a MASSIVE zombie outbreak (with the protagonists being JUST outside the blast zone of the transformation gas, of course)) and Silent Hill 2 (James dives into many, many pits, steals Pyramid Head's Great Knife (something I thought could only be done on a second playthrough, but apparently not!), reunites with a mysteriously-alive Maria, only to see her die again, and reunites with Angie being threatened by her own Silent Hill hell, only for her to accuse him of being just like her abuser father and leaving him in disgust). Whew -- Helloween, thank you for bringing a touch of levity to these proceedings -- not sure how I'd take them if I just went in straight.

And now, it's time to hit the sack, as I do have work tomorrow. Meh. At least it's a shorter week. Night all!
