I SOMEHOW got all my work done at the office, but it wasn't easy. I swear, that processing company makes the dumbest mistakes sometimes. . . I hate having to wait for stuff while I'm trying to get a bunch of time-sensitive reports out. And not getting a proper lunch break because one coworker had to leave for a family emergency and the other said she was going out to get a sandwich and would be right back aaaaand -- nope. *sigh* (Admittedly, that might have something to do with the fact there was a festival going on downtown, but still.)

But I'm out for the weekend, and I had a nice, productive afternoon despite the poor start to the morning:

-->Another page on "Fixing You" -- June has just learned who her brother is, and who he's dating, and she's like "oh come on" and everyone is like "yes seriously" XD The world is a very small place where this group is concerned XD

-->A solid walk around the block -- five times XD Hey, it's three miles, so I ain't complaining! It was nice out too -- weather's finally gotten proper warm again. :D And tomorrow's supposed to be nice too, yay~

-->Tomorrow's tumblr queues settled -- some birthday posts for my various Victors on ValiceMultiverse, and my dolly birthday bash and an appropriate song on VictorLuvsAlice

-->YouTube subscriptions caught up on -- a "Fun With Shorts" about the importance of good schools for America! (ahahahahahahaha) and Helloween's latest A:MR Revisit set, featuring lovely Cardbridge and less-lovely Queensland (he's gotten rather obsessed with finding pig snouts, and yet managed to miss two Radula Rooms. Oh Helloween)

-->The last of the really good ice cream eaten -- yeah, I know, weird "accomplishment," but this was chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough. The TRULY good stuff. :D

Okay, next tasks -- empty out the inbox, then get back to my collaborative writing thing with a friend on tumblr (we're doing crossover scenes from my "Lovecraft Jazz" verse -- Valice AU which takes place in the 1920s in a Lovecraft-inspired universe). Tomorrow -- mini-golf trip! At least, that's the plan, anyway. I'm all for it -- seems like a great way to celebrate the Victor/Marty double birthday. Especially since we're apparently also going out for ice cream. . . Hey, I can have it twice a week, and I'd want something special tomorrow anyway. :D For now, though, I got stuff to answer/reblog -- night all!

I feel you. On Wednesday when I got in I was about to do the You Know Whats but then I saw they had the close flag on. At the end of every month, they have to close the books on everything and because of the size of the system, it takes hours (the record is five). So I wasn't able to complete what I had to do until about 2:00 and the cutoff to get the wire transfer done is 4:00. Luckily it worked out but I literally had nothing to do starting at 9am.

On a happier note, since Mom gives me money for my birthday I just used her card to pre-order Seasons. :)

Ooooof -- that's rough. :( I'm glad you were able to get it done in time, but that must have sucked majorly. There's nothing like when you have an important project to do and not enough time to do it in, huh?

Heh, nice! I'm tempted to pre-order myself, honestly. . .we'll see if I actually do. It's DEFINITELY a buy, though, no matter what.
