Shockingly Quiet Monday

crossover_chickAs in, I wasn't being pestered to do stuff every fifteen seconds and was actually able to catch up on a couple of other projects! Such as that one parish that we're trying to sort out, money-wise -- got some new stuff posted there. I also got myself a day off next Friday (the 22nd), and we got the official confirmation that half-day Fridays start July 6th. So yeah, not a bad day at work at all. I appreciate these days -- especially since tomorrow's probably gonna be another long one. Got all those reports for the capital campaign. . .
It was kind of a distracted afternoon (looking up something on TV Tropes, then getting sucked into the world of Sims 4 Seasons news -- what can I say, I'm excited :D), but I did:
-->Finish off my new short chapter in "Fixing You", with June revealing why she calls Bonejangles "Jeremy" when he usually went by "Sam" in life -- she threw a hissy fit about it as a little kid and nobody bothered to correct her because what does he care, he's dead. (Turns out he cares.) Time to do a little editing on the next chapter (rewrite some stuff that got partially covered in the new chapter), then skip back to the last chapter with the Victor/Alice wedding! :D
-->Watch Helloween's latest Castlevania: Lords of Shadow set (amazing scenery utterly wrecked by Gabe as he slaughters an ogre and a crow witch); and another episode of "Super Sim" (a building episode about giving Maxine her own little house inside the Max Towers mansion so she can raise her eventual family on-site so Max doesn't have to travel anywhere to see his grandkids XD)
-->Get my pictures for the next "Newcrest Adventures" on my tumblr edited. I really need to take some time on a Saturday and get a few of these written so I can just cue them up without worrying during the week. . .
Small things, but I'm glad to have gotten them done. :) And now it's time to finish off my comments in the inbox and head to bed. Just gotta get through the rest of this week! Hopefully it won't be too hard. Night all!
