Pretty Darn All Right Friday

crossover_chickHalf days really make all the difference -- especially when I'm allowed to concentrate on one project. Maintenance has gotta get done, after all. A few frustrating moments here and there, but nothing that could wreck the day. I even got a special lunch, using up a Subway gift card I'd had sitting in my wallet since Christmas. (Meatball Marinara meal -- good, though I'll always prefer homemade meatball subs. I got a cookie with it, though :D) I also got home right on time (yay decent traffic), and spent the afternoon:
-->Working on final edits to Chapter 1 of "Fixing You" (tweaking a few things here and there -- shouldn't take long at all)
-->Playing some BioShock 2: Minerva's Den (rescued my first Little Sister, which was -- kind of rough. Lancer Big Daddies are TOUGH, yo. And I hadn't realized how annoying gathers could be when you didn't have traps to stop the Splicers -- I was BURNING through the health kits. Fortunately I got my ADAM and now have my trusty Cyclone Trap and Insect Swarm plasmids, hooray. Currently bumming around the robotics section turning all the security measures to my side while I look for a plot-important plasmid)
-->Watching a bunch of stuff in my "Watch Later" queue (one RabbidLuigi video on bittersweet endings, one Kubz Scouts 60 Seconds challenge video (where you had to guess the challenge he was doing, no less! Hint: he doesn't use a single bad word during the whole episode, which is unusual for him), and a boatload of OXBox/OXtra stuff), plus one "Fun With Shorts" that I thought was going to be something racist about China or Japan (since it was called "Day of the Dragon") but instead turned out to be a very weird animated Lone Ranger cartoon (which was still fairly racist because Tonto but also had a MECHANICAL DRAGON THING in the Old West, which -- wasted potential!)

-->Getting my Valice Multiverse queue done (some asks and a couple of thread replies -- usual stuff)
And now I'm working on getting my queue up for tomorrow on VictorLuvsAlice. I also actually used this morning to get my pictures ready for my next Sims update, since I had a spare moment, so I can actually get ahead on that this weekend, yay! Granted, it's going to be a three-part update instead of the usual two, but -- well. It's my OTP couple showing off the new expansion pack -- of COURSE I went a little picture happy. XD
Anyway! I still have another post for Saturday to put up, and some stuff in my inbox to take care of, so I'd better get on that. *nods* Tomorrow: More Sims (both watching and playing -- I've got a BUNCH of Sim Supply to catch up on, as I've said), working on "The Technicolor Phase," and hopefully a walk up at the local park. Would be nice. Anyway, night all!
