Indoors Sunday

crossover_chickHot and muggy out there, as we have another little -- well, not quite a heatwave; temperatures are supposed to stay around the high 80s, with Wednesday hitting 90. But it's hot enough to justify having the air conditioners on, so yeah. At least this one isn't supposed to last a full week. We'll see how the summer goes!
Today was kind of a lazy Sunday, though I made sure most of that laziness was pointed at my Watch Later queue. Got through another bunch of "Rags To Riches Seasons" episodes from The Sim Supply (got to actually see the Deli makeover; the final baby was born, a girl named Lady II after her great-great-great-great-grandmother, the founder of the whole Bigwallet Rags To Riches dynasty; James FINALLY got a Bird of Paradise flower from his spliced plants (no orchids yet though); Raggy is progressing nicely through the scouting "career" and has taken on the task of training Scooby; the gang celebrated Summerfest (with a summery Father Winter no less!) and -- at the point I left off -- is currently in the middle of New Year's Eve; and James renovated the house a bit after selling some flower arrangements to improve the first floor layout), plus one Atop The Fourth Wall (Linkara tackled a 3-D Star Wars comic, which was mainly just a bit boring and had no real reason to have the 3-D gimmick). Getting things back to a reasonable level. . . Still need to watch Helloween's latest RE4 set, but I'll have some time tomorrow or Tuesday to catch up on that because of his trip.
I also:
-->Did a bit more editing on "Fixing You" Chapter 1 -- mainly just adjusting some dialogue and looking for misspellings. We're totally on track for the upgraded version of that chapter to go up by Friday.
-->Played some more Minerva's Den -- cleared out the robotics side of things, got me the trusty Electrobolt plasmid from some super-creepy robot Little Sisters, and adopted another fleshy Little Sisters and took her on a few gathers. Opened up a plasmid slot and a couple of tonic slots. I'm currently in the "Air-Tite Archives" looking for the next plot-important plasmid, smashing vacuums and slaughtering splicers. Good times~
-->Did my Valice Multiverse queue, and finished up the Wednesday Sims post on tumblr (three posts, no surprise), so I'm a bit ahead on those, yay~
And I'm about to tackle the inbox before heading to bed. Hopefully it'll be another decently quiet week at work. . .though we DO have final parish reports on Wednesday. Meeep. . . Then again, it's the last one, so perhaps I should be celebrating instead. We'll see how it goes. Night all!
