Much Nicer Sunday

crossover_chickMood has stabilized after yesterday's hormonal annoyances, meaning today was much better right from the start. And it was pretty much all uphill from there:
-->Had a nice breakfast shake while reading TV Tropes on my iPad and watching related videos on YouTube (stuff on Darkest Dungeon -- I was searching out some of the more awesome moments in the final boss fight)
-->Got my first chunk done on the new Chapter 6 of "Fixing You," editing the gang entering the Van Dort house and getting confronted with Nell Van Dort's decorating skills XD Tea is next, and it shall prove to be awkward!
-->Caught up on my Sim Supply videos -- the other two episodes of his "Rags to Riches Seasons" LP, where the Bigwallets celebrated Bigwallet Appreciation Day and Mates & BBQ Day, Sebastian made a bunch of flower arrangements for the store, Luna leveled up her Gourmet Cooking skill, Lady II got a minor makeover, and Raggy finally got her final Llama Scouts badge; and a silly video celebrating his 1 Million Subscribers -- he couldn't fit a million ceiling fans on a single lot in the game, but someone said it should be possible if he tried spreading them out across EVERY lot (excluding work/hidden lots) -- and it was! I mean, the game ended up laggy as hell and there's nowhere for any Sims to live, but it did work. XD
-->Played Sims 4 myself -- and celebrated my version of Sim Halloween, aka Spookfest! Alice and Victor spent the day in their Dark Forms (which actually counted as costumes for the tradition, neat!), and even held a little Spooky Party with a few friends. Including Vlad, so Alice could beat him up in a friendly Vampiric Spar. XD The whole family had a great Spookfest, and their money reserves are enough that I can easily add that basement crypt/laundry room to the house. I'm just worried about how big Victor's alien baby belly is getting. . .
-->Had a nice supper with the family, then went out to Friendly's for sundaes! Yeah, while I'd gotten word of a coupon for cheap small cones, Mom had found one for 25% off your entire order, so we decided to get something slightly more elaborate. Mom and Dad had hot fudge and caramel sundaes, while I had the new "Choc It To Me" sundae with hot fudge and cookie dough bits. Very tasty -- calorie nightmare, but it's one night near the end of summer. I'm not gonna worry overmuch about it. I work out, and I try to keep the ice cream to the weekends these days. It's nice to do something a little special like this, you know? (Yeah, not THAT special, so soon after my vacation, but you get the idea. XD)
-->Came back, had shower, and then watched Helloween's latest Metroid set -- the first boss has been defeated (an evil plant thing where you had to knock back the mirrors reflecting sunlight onto it before bombing the roots), and more of the planet has been opened up! Hells spent most of the set exploring (and getting badly burned in) the lava area, but ended the set in the snowy one. It's a fun game so far -- I like that you get special visor effects when Samus steps in steam or looks up at rain, and the lore of the game is pretty interesting. I look forward to seeing where it all goes!
-->And I've just been working hard on queues for both ValiceMultiverse and Victor Luvs Alice. Ahead on the Sims post for this week, hooray -- though it is another longer one. Three posts instead of four, at least. . . Now I just have to empty out the inbox and hit the sheets. Fingers crossed work won't be an absolute nightmare tomorrow. . .please, all I want is a relatively smooth database transition. . . Night all!
