Almost The Same Shit, Different Day

crossover_chickI say almost because while work was another whirl of "everything needs my attention for some reason, why are there so many duplicates, why can't things just happen on their own for a change," I was actually able to get out for a lunchtime walk! Yeah, while it off-and-on rained most of the day, it actually stopped long enough for to get my usual around the block in. Felt good to get a little exercise out and about again. And the ride home was MUCH easier tonight -- at least partially because I didn't have to drive it (Dad picked me up as Mom had the car). So that had a good effect on my mood. AND I found a good new short workout vid that still makes you break a good sweat, so now I have something for when I've gotten in a walk at lunch but can't after work for whatever reason, or when I just don't have a lot of time. Options are good.
On the writing front, I continue to make good progress on Chapter 7 of "Fixing You" -- we're up to the point where Bonejangles's first name is finally revealed to the characters (or rather, they connect the "Jeremy" that June talks about to him). I still find his reaction amusing XD Still don't know if this is going to be an extra-long chapter or a split one -- the time to do it would be I guess when they finally get to the Ball & Socket and go to have their chat with the Liddells and BJ's mom (yeah, Carolina's a part of this too -- what, she's a friend!). We'll see how I feel when I hit that part.
On the video front, some good stuff today:

-->Sim Supply "Rags to Riches Seasons" set (Lady II has been officially moved to the attic to free up her old bedroom for her new baby brother, Lord Bigwallet :p James also talked about turning the series from "Rags to Riches" into something new when the family finally moves into their new house back in Windenberg, simply because -- well, it's not really about earning money anymore, is it? He's thinking of showing off Sebastian working through the new Gardening career. I'm for it.)
-->Helloween Resident Evil 4 set (Leon has a horrible quicktime-laden fight against a boss man -- timed no less thanks to some explosives lying around the place; Mike the Badass Helicopter wrecks some shit for about five minutes, giving Leon just enough time to get to like him before getting wrecked himself; and then Leon almost strangles Ada because he's just this side of becoming a parasite zombie, so clock is ticking again)
So that was nice. And then it's just been the usual getting caught up on webcomics and doing my queue on ValiceMultiverse (lots of Londerland Bloodlines questions, which is fine by me as I am in a "vampires" mood). Time to clear out the final bits in my inbox and head to bed. Just gotta get through Friday now. . . Night all!
