crossover_chickI mean, I had to cut through the city, but the traffic doing so was actually reasonable -- certainly better than the bit I saw of trying to get onto the highway! Got home in about a half-hour, which is reasonable for a city run with the weather we had today (which was lots and lots of rain -- fortunately it had tapered off by the time I left work). Glad it wasn't a hell ride -- I get quite enough stress just at work these days. I DO really need to get gas tomorrow afternoon, though. Just have to refresh my memory on which side the gas tank actually is. ^^; What, it's been a while since I pumped it myself. But hey, it's all good practice for when I eventually get my own car.
Afternoon was pretty reasonable -- did my workout, had my shower, had dinner, did my writing. More on Chapter 7, natch -- we're at the Ball & Socket, and everyone's getting quite the reception. I think, if I'm going to split this chapter, I will do so when the group goes back to their private table to talk some -- it's about midway, and it feels like the most natural breaking point. We'll see what happens tomorrow. I also watched some videos, natch:
-->The Sim Supply, "Rags To Riches Seasons" (grinding out more flowers, Sebastian spends an entire night trying to make friends with the ghost of Benedryl to get him to move in, Luna maxes out Parenting skill and gets super efficient at taking care of babies)
-->Helloween, Vampyr (collecting all the sidequests, Jonathan has to wander back down to the docks to find an escaped, crazed patient from the hospital (we don't know yet if it's from the Spanish flu or vampirism -- or both), and he runs into a very dapper "vampire hunter" with a ridiculous name XD)
I also FINALLY left a review that I've been meaning to on a friend's story (in my defense, the story, and thus my review, were long), finished up my Sims posts for tomorrow (why did I do a five-part update again?), and did my Valice Multiverse queue (mostly asks, as is the norm these days). So yeah, productive night. Got a few last things to clear out of the inbox, then it's time for bed. Three more days. . .
