That Explains My Mood Right There

crossover_chickGranted, I knew it was coming, but still -- not exactly fun to get one's period near the start of the workday. Fortunately, since I knew it was coming, I was prepared with a pad, and was able to get through the day without ruined clothes. Was definitely crankier, more tired, and more scatterbrained, though. Spent quite a while looking for my granola bar in my bag pocket, thinking I'd somehow left it at home, before finally turning back to my desk and seeing it waiting for me there. *facepalm* To be somewhat fair, it was another day with a LOT to do, and I just. . .meh. Tomorrow's Friday. Glad of it.
At least the weather was all right -- it's definitely getting into fall-type stuff, but it's still warm enough for walks outside. Kinda cloudy, but what can you do? Weekend's supposed to be pretty nice, though -- Saturday mild, Sunday cooler but still good. I'll take whatever I can get. After all, the sun goes down earlier every day. . .
Writing-wise, I got another chunk done on "currently still the long one" Chapter 7. Part of me DOES want to split it still, but -- I'm not entirely sure how? Them settling in to talk with the Liddells and Thatchers seems like the place, but there's not really a good spot to actually insert the chapter break. . .perhaps it's a question non-period me should ponder. I'm never at my creative best during at least the first couple of days. Stupid body. . .
Video-wise, Helloween has finished off Resident Evil 4! Leon fought a load of dudes, rescued Ashley, conveniently found a machine to remove the parasite from their bodies, and grenaded Sadler to death after he got all mutated because Helloween had been basically hoarding them the entire game and found they made the boss easy. And then he had to make a pretty epic escape on a jet ski while the whole island blew up. Good stuff -- I can see why people like this game. It's actiony, it's still pretty creepy, and it looks fun. Shame the series promptly went downhill after this. . .though RE7 was pretty good, so maybe. . . We'll see. I also enjoyed a funny video by RTGamer of him completing one of the Hitman missions -- while dressed in a clown suit. XD Mike of OXBox would be proud.
And now I've done my ValiceMultiverse queue for the day, and I just have to get the last couple of things out of my inbox. Gotta push through one more day tomorrow, and then it's the weekend, yay~ Hopefully my concentration will be a bit better. Night all!
