Though I am glad I didn't make the "to-do" list, as BioShock Infinite would have been on it, and I didn't get to that today. Just didn't have the time in between cleaning my room (which happened a little later than usual -- we had an earlier-than-usual lunch), finishing up that new Alice POV bit in "The Technicolor Phase" (rewriting of the ending of A:MR -- first draft, but at least I managed to push past that little voice telling me "but you already did this in "Forgetting You!"), and doing my usual walk/run around the block before supper. C'est la vie -- maybe I'll do a video game twofer tomorrow. We'll see.

I did get a chance to watch some fun videos -- Jay from the Kubz Scouts has moved onto the sequel to 60 Seconds nuclear survival game: 60 Parsecs, a space survival game which is a lot more nuanced. There's crafting, characters have definite stats now, and it looks like there's a variety of different planets to land on and explore. Plus an awesome snarky AI responsible for all the notes. XD Jay's first attempt didn't go very well thanks to him not being familiar with how the game is different from its predecessor -- almost all of his crew, including the captain, ended up starving to death. But I've got the second attempt waiting in Watch Later -- hopefully that'll go better! And there was a long Metroid Prime set from good old Helloween -- hour and a half! But he covered a fair amount of ground in the Phazon mines, beating up pirates and scoring more goodies. He's now got the X-Ray Visor, the Grapple Beam, the Power Bombs, and -- at the very end -- the Plasma Beam! So Sammy should be fully upgraded now, ready to save some artifacts and then the world from the horrors of Phazon and Space Pirates. It's good stuff, especially with how much care was put into the game's visuals -- you can see the bones in Samus's hand when using the X-Ray visor! It's wild and I appreciate it muchly. :)

On the more productive side of things, not only did I finish that bit in "The Technicolor Phase," I edited and posted another Scene from Secundus: icy roads, the "Victor and Alice have a carriage accident" prompt. Didn't need too much tweaking, happily -- and, for those who might not remember it/haven't read it yet, it's a bit dark, but not too bad. I wasn't going to kill them off in a random Winter Bingo prompt, I promise.

Okay -- currently doing a bit of the RP thing, and I still need to answer the stuff in my e-mail inbox and get my queue sorted. Let's get on that. Night all!
