One Story Down, One To Go

crossover_chickTonight we have the last chapter of "The Technicolor Phase" for a bit before it goes on a temporary hiatus while I write the new chapters: Victor Yellow! All about Alice, Victor, and Victoria's coffee meet-up. You could ask for worse places for a short stop, I suppose. Especially as it shows off a bit of magic from Victor, and Alice feeling truly happy for the first time in a while. :) And tomorrow, "Fixing You" Chapter 9! And then another break while I work on the long Chapter 10. XD Well, that one should DEFINITELY be worth the wait, at least.
Slightly less horrible day at work today -- I was able to get on a bunch of gifts that were in the back and complete a project I missed from yesterday. Things got a little more annoying as the day went on, but at least I got my proper breaks in. Hopefully things stay the same for tomorrow. . .honestly, the worst part of the day was the ride home. I don't know WHAT happened to the traffic, but it was horrible enough that I had to cut through the city, which is never fun. *sigh* And tomorrow is likely to be even WORSE in that regard. . .as we're expecting SNOW. 1 to 3 inches only, but considering how nuts drivers around here get in the RAIN. . .we even had a few spitting flurries this morning, actually. Nothing major, but I could definitely see a few flakes. Fortunately tomorrow I'm not going alone -- Mom needs the car after I get to work because Dad's truck has to go in to be fixed. We'll see how the after-work commute goes -- hopefully we'll only get a dusting. At least Friday's supposed to have some early rain to wash it all away. . .
On the YouTube side of things, it was definitely a Sims night -- mostly because James has got a LOOT of new content out with the new patch/expansion pack. There's a Terrain Tools tutorial (showing off the basics of the whole new terrain manipulation system -- it's cool to watch him play with it, but I don't know how often I'll use it in my own game); a house build of a weird "three circles" house with a late 90s/early 2000s style (very beige, in a "so bad its good" way XD -- gave me Sims 1 vibes, actually); and the first episode of his new Get Famous Rags To Riches starring Lady Bigwallet II (now a young adult and starting out in the acting career! Also apparently Vladislaus owns a vampire hardware/repair store, judging by the commercial gig she scored XD). All good stuff. There was also a Buy/Build overview, but that's almost a solid hour, so -- gotta wait til the weekend for that one! Something to look forward to, I suppose.
Right now, though, what I should look forward to is bed. Just gotta finish emptying out the inbox, then hit the sheets. Two more days and a dentist appointment. . .what can you do. Night all!
