Yeah We're Back To Monday

crossover_chickBeginning of the day wasn't too bad -- traffic was okay and the very start of work was quiet -- but everything just kind of built up as the day went on. Lots of phone calls, people asking about billings and complaining about wrong payments and mailings that shouldn't have gone out, e-mails, me trying to keep straight all the stuff I have to get done. . .and one of my coworkers is out after a surgery, and the other had to leave early for a doctor's appointment, sooo. . . And to cap it all off, I ended up with an hour ride home because, unbeknownst to me when I turned down the road, there'd been an accident on the highway. One car, from what I could see -- maybe hit the barrier. Just SOOOO frustrating. Ugh.
However, I made it home eventually, and got a few things taken care of, at least. Namely:
-->Got a workout in -- I slacked over the holiday week, so I'm trying to reestablish my usual pattern
-->Wrote some more on Chapter 10 -- completed the Hatter's Domain section, which as you might guess is a tea party. It's actually based off one of the A:MR teaser trailers -- I never liked much about the visuals of it, but I did enjoy some of the concepts, such as what looked like a candy snail being served up for tea. So I used that just for funsies. Next up we go back to an AMA domain -- the mining tunnels of the Village of the Doomed!
-->Watched The Sim Supply's latest "Get Famous Rags to Richest" set -- Lady II has successfully convinced Thorne to move into her, meaning he's lost pretty much all his wealth (as James left his ex-wife and child at the mansion). James is now scheming for the best way for Thorne to lose all his fame before they hit him with the fact Lady II has a mistress. Guy wants this dude to SUFFER. :p Though his plans have taken a rather -- INTERESTING turn, with Lady II having TWINS. A boy and a girl, to be precise -- Brussel and Blueberry. Yes, named after foods -- Thorne's child with Octavia Moon is named Orange. XD So now he's got juggle them, Lady's burgeoning acting career (she's doing really well in all her roles now -- still no Starlight Accolade award, though!), and his complex campaign of revenge. We'll see how it all comes together (or falls apart) as the series progresses!
-->Watched Helloween's last set of Vampyr. Basically wrapping up some final questions about the lore of vampires in this world, William Marshal, and Elisabeth. Helloween managed to get the best ending by refraining from chomping on any innocent civilians (he has of course left DOZENS of dead Priwen guards and fellow vampires littering London's streets, but they don't count because apparently the game has to have combat). It was sweet, though Helloween did point out the love plot between Elisabeth and Jonathan was fairly rushed. The game is fairly flawed, but I do love many of the aspects of the vampire lore it contains, and the world it creates. It's been a fun ride. :)
-->And got one of my posts for my upcoming Sims Wednesday on VictorLuvsAlice sorted, so that's good. Hopefully I can at least get the pictures up and sorted for another before bed.
Right now, though, it's "empty the inbox" time around here. Gotta get all the comments cleared out so I can start afresh tomorrow. And get to bed a little earlier -- had some trouble sleeping last night and want to give myself a better chance tonight. Bleh, I don't like five day work weeks anymore. . .but I shall soldier on. The long break for Christmas is coming -- just do my best to get through each day of work until then. *nods* Night all!
