Happy Valicetine's Day!

crossover_chickBeen kind of a stressful one for me, though -- more work bullshit, including The Project That Continues To Rear Its Ugly Head Right When It's Least Wanted. But I DID actually manage to get on a whole load of checks that have been gathering dust in one of the folders, so that's something. Yay me. One thing at a time. . .
I did get a nice card from my parents, plus a tiny box of chocolates -- Russell Stover makes a four-piece box, of all things. XD I reciprocated with a nice online card I found for them. I also of course had my Valicetine posts on tumblr: Here's the 2019 set! Rather proud of them in the end, honestly -- I have a lot of fun making these each year. As the tag probably shows. XD
I also got Chapter 14 of "Fixing You" posted -- it has a wedding rehearsal between Victor and Alice, so it kind of fits into the spirit of the day, right? Though it also features a lot of fish monsters vomiting up their own guts as an attack. . . There's gross stuff in this chapter -- you've been warned! All that editing didn't leave much time for videos, but I did sneak in one -- the Semaj Lovelympics! Basically James doing a silly challenge where seven sims "compete" to be his self-Sim Semaj's one true love. After the two other Sims he's wooed and dumped. XD The original idea was just to pick them all off one by one via cowplant, but after it became apparent Sims will not autonomously kill themselves by grabbing the cake (they will do so once and get drained, but they will not do so a second time of their own free will), James instead set up a series of "challenges" where the last one to complete a task was made to get eaten. (After he, uh, accidentally killed a contestant by trying to queue up her grabbing the cake and then discovering he couldn't cancel the interaction. Whoops.) The proud winner was a Sim called Holly -- Jealous, Erratic, and Romantic. And spends most of her time in a gnome outfit. Semaj's perfect match indeed. XD
It also hasn't left much time for RPing -- I've got all the comments in my inbox to answer, plus some in my Valice Multiverse inbox too! So better get on that before the night slips away. . . One more day to get through. Fingers crossed it isn't too horrible, everyone! Night all!
