Four For Four!

As in, I did not have a completely shit Thursday! There was one incident with the online site and a written-off pledge, but that was fortunately about it for major annoyances. Most of the day was spent helping my coworker who'd been out for a while get back into the groove with certain tasks, and going through returns. Got a decent-sized stack 99% done, so yay there. I like when it's quiet yet productive. Makes me feel better about life.
Evening hasn't been too shabby either:
-->Got in my workout, and had a nice dinner with the family
-->Wrote some more on Chapter 18 of "Fixing You" -- cutting out some of the unnecessary fluff in the conversations. I believe I've mentioned before how wordy my characters can get sometimes -- gotta trim the fat so we don't get bogged down in unnecessary detail. ...and yet I spent quite a bit of time and a paragraph getting the descriptions of the food just right, and I still want to go back and tweak the description of the cake. I wrote that AFTER eating, mind. This is what you get when you describe one character as a super-cook.
-->Watched a couple of videos -- yet another entry in "CallMeKevin plays Peter Jackson's King Kong and it is a delightful trainwreck" (he managed to fix the game enough to get past the part he got stuck on in the previous episode, but clipping is still an issue, and he has no patience with the idiocy of the game's characters -- such as one guy refusing to walk through some poorly-textured bushes, forcing the player character to battle alligators and dinosaurs so he could go the long way around. On the plus side, we finally had a section where he got to play as Kong! A janky Kong, but still); and a "love letter" to Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines (praising its writing, voice acting, and dedication to customizing the experience for certain clans -- of course, focusing on how different Nosferatu and Malkavian playthroughs are. Though, RagnarRox? I'm not sure if anyone would consider more time spent in the LA sewers to be an improvement :p). Also an update from Helloween, saying that his next Metro Exodus set is being delayed because the Epic Game launcher is wank, but he does have his new Let's Replay in the works! And he used a Dead Space 2 image for the video, so. . .
-->Got my The Valice Multiverse queue sorted, w00t -- nothing too painful, which is good.
And now I'm going to answer what's lurking in my inbox and probably binge the prompts on this fandom polyamory appreciation blog I found on tumblr. XD Because why not? Night all, sleep tight!
