. . .Well, MOSTLY exaggerated. We had many scary-looking clouds pass over, but none of them ever amounted to anything -- certainly not a thunderstorm. Apparently it was pouring at one exit on the highway, according to my parents, but not anywhere else! Fine by me -- meant I could get in my usual outdoors walks instead of having to rely on a YouTube video. Yay fresh air and (occasional bursts of) sunshine!
Time is getting away from me tonight, so to sum up my day:
-->Work was all right -- managed to clear out TWO issues we had outstanding today, yay~ Also started cleaning up some more returns, which is good. Of course, now I have OTHER questions for the boss when he comes in tomorrow. . .it's a never-ending cycle, I swear.
-->Finished up another chapter of "Secundus 2," with Victor thanking Marty for helping him through his post-nightmare worry spiral and getting mushy about how much he missed his friend. It's pretty sweet, in my opinion -- and, again, helps set up the climax a little better, I think. Plus it ends on a very sweet Victor and Alice moment, which I am all for. :) That being said, I am actually very tempted to work on something related to Forgotten Vows tomorrow -- I'm feeling kind of inspired to get more of the wedding prep stories done. Mostly because I'd like to post one or two around the time of Victor and Alice's anniversary in July. . .even when I think I'm out, that verse just PULLS me back in. . .
-->Watched Helloween's latest set of Dead Space 2 -- which, as per usual, included some unfortunate dismembering deaths for poor Isaac. Via explosion, naturally -- a balloon animal he just couldn't quite get away from, and a series of explosions from blowing up something holding the tram he, Ellie, and Stross were all escaping on that turned out to be on a timer, meaning if you didn't get out of there soon enough. . .best part is that Isaac's torso started partying (Hells's term for when a ragdoll body freaks out and flails in all directions) right before it reloaded. To Partyhalla with you, my man! XD I love this replay, it's great -- both because it's a good game and because Hells has such fantastic commentary on his own occasionally-not-stellar playing. XD
-->Also watched two OXBox/OXTra videos (weirdest button prompts in games, including the infamous "Press square to pay your respects," and the best easter eggs in games that only appear on certain days -- apparently Fallout 4's Diamond City decorates for in-game Christmas, so that's something to look forward to! More than Arkham City's Calendar Man's recounting his favorite calendar-based crimes. . .), and RTGame's response to CallMeKevin singing "Country Roads" (which is kind of his thing in videos). RT did not sing "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash (Kevin's go-to song) as expected, but instead showed off his mad dance skills, to great amusement. First time I've ever seen RT in the flesh, actually -- he doesn't look half-bad in a suit! And then someone in the comments compared Kevin to a Sim and RT to a knock-off Jerry Seinfeld and I lost a good two minutes at least to helpless laughter. XD
-->Got my Victor Luvs Alice queue sorted for tomorrow; came up with the topic of "let's discuss the titles of the stories," which actually yielded some decent material. :) And I know what I want to do for Saturday -- it's just finding the time to get the posts sorted!
Speaking of which, I have to finish up my Valice Multiverse queue and take care of the last comment in my inbox. One more day tomorrow. . .then whatever the weekend brings. Which is hopefully good stuff! Night all!
