Which took a good chunk of my morning and afternoon thanks to interruptions -- mainly having to help put away some groceries (mostly on-sale soda), having lunch, having popcorn after lunch. . . Didn't get done until almost 3. Which, I know that it takes a while thanks to all my toys and such, and that it has to be done on at least an every-other-week basis so my room stays clean, but it's still kind of frustrating, you know? I had shit I wanted to do today!

Though I should say, I did get most of that shit done:

-->Watched the "Talks Machina" episode about the Critical Role "Thursday By Night" one-shot! Though it was actually about the first half of the one-shot (a "double tap" as one of their fans termed it), and I'm not sure if they did an episode about the second? Or where to find it. . . Anyway, it was fun, they had a lot of laughs and answered some questions (Travis said that, if he'd had the chance, he would have liked to have made friends with the werewolves and tried becoming a hybrid -- uh, no, that would not have ended well, Travis; Sam confirmed that he basically has NO IDEA what the rest of the studio is like, or even who works in it XD; and Talesin shared the strangely sweet news that the reason Matt and Marisha died so early in the campaign was because they really wanted to play for a while, but had to leave early because of a meeting with their wedding planner, so they set it up that they'd die by a certain point so they could at least share in the start of the adventure, then go make their meeting. The deaths themselves weren't pre-decided -- Talesin basically said "just make dumb decisions at a certain point and I'll do the rest." XD). So that was fun!

-->Took my walk -- it was a bit cooler today, so it was good getting outside weather. Five times around the block, as is standard when I don't have work.

-->After shower and supper, went ahead and played some Bloodlines! I've finished the plaguebearer quests -- barely, thanks to Brother Kanker. Getting to him wasn't too much of an issue -- surviving him was. Caine save me from Nosferatus who have claws that inflict aggravated damage! Not to mention I forgot to save at the beginning of the fight TWICE, so I had to go through the conversation with him three times. *grumps* I eventually got him down through a LOT of running in circles, heavy use of my fire axe and Veil of Madness, and a couple of blood bags. I think Alice IS going to upgrade her Dementation a bit, as that first level that forces the target to actually stop for a minute has saved my bacon a couple of times. Having the one that can kill targets, or at least severely injure them, is looking necessary.

At any rate, I killed him, grabbed his flier, checked in with Damsel, then headed to the headquarters and shot a bunch of zombies with my new gun. Hey, if Alice has improved her firearms skills, she needs to use them! Got down to Bishop Vick, murdered him (after a much easier fight -- bastard may have Celerity, but he was only using a shotgun, which I own too, and I was able to keep out of range enough to avoid getting dusted), then reported my success to Strauss (picking up the Bloodstar artifact in the process, yay) and Damsel (getting a bregrudging thank you). I think next up will be the Venus quests (at least the first one), then "Calling Dr. Grout" to finish up that "night." Gotta fit Pisha in at some point too. . .even if, uh, I'm planning on killing her. Look, I know she gives a good quest with good loot, but I don't think Alice would look at what she did to that camera crew and want her to live. Though I should at least be able to do the part about dealing with Simon and get a little extra XP there. . .

-->Didn't get to the Hitman 2 stuff today (*sadface*), but I did get in a Jay video about 60 Seconds Reatomized -- the "say yes to everything" challenge, with only Ted in the bunker. First run had Ted dead within 15 days due to injury; the second one had Ted manage to survive 57 days before succumbing to illness. Not bad for a challenge where you can never refuse a scenario, and where Ted is liable to go crazy from loneliness really fast and thus might leave the bunker at any time! (Part of the reason I think he lasted so long in the second run is because Jay got the cat scenario, and having a pet really helps keep the crazy away in that game.)

-->It was also Riddles With Jay And Kassie day, so I watched those as well. Fun stuff, and Jay and Kassie are getting better at solving the riddles! Good for them. :)

-->And I got the next Scene From Secundus up: Second Helping (And Third, And Fourth. . .) First part of a two-part prompt about seconds, featuring Unusually Large Appetite Victor. :p What can I say, I have a soft spot for the humor inherent in Mr. Stick Thin there packing away a ton of food. :p

And now I'm doing a bit of the RP thing and setting up queues. . .gotta answer some comments too. Usual Saturday night stuff! Which makes sense, as we're heading into the final days off, and I have to transition back to my regular routine. . . Still got tomorrow and Monday, though! And tomorrow is going to be largely about catching up with James Turner and his Sims stuff, as well as playing Sims of my own. Though I haven't decided if I'm building or playing a family yet. . .we'll see. For now, good night!
