Another Faffing About Kind of Night
Oct. 18th, 2019 11:51 pmWhich, given it's Friday, isn't so much of a problem, but I do still have my standing Friday Night Writing Thing (The Sequel) date, sooo let's keep this update on the quick side:
-->Work was a little more stressful than it had to be (some weird calls, and a GL problem that is -- hard to describe?), but wasn't TOO bad -- I've had much worse
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has had her first experience with Dominate, and she is rather freaked out (it doesn't help that, thanks to everything happening at once, she hasn't actually cottoned on that she's a vampire -- she's just about to, though, shortly after meeting Smilin' Jack)
-->Watched:
A) James and Deli play GeoGuessr -- Australia Edition! (They fluffed up the first two rounds, though the second one wasn't quite their fault -- turns out the road they were looking for exists both on the Aussie mainland AND in Tasmania. After that they started actively looking for road signs and got three major wins, so good for them)
B) LilSimsie builds a four-bedroom starter home on a budget of $20K, without move objects on or debug items, all because she can't turn down a challenge -- especially from SimGuru Frost. XD It actually came out pretty nice! I mean, it has very little super-cheap furniture, and no landscaping beyond a single tree, but it actually would work very well as a starter home for a Sim who wants a large family. And Simsie is already thinking of ways to improve upon the formula. . .
C) The latest Yandere Simulator update video -- the game has a street now! With stores and everything! Though everything except the maid cafe is a placeholder for the moment, just showing off the functionality it could have. (The maid cafe gets full functionality because the mini game for it already exists.) Also, a certain spooky face happens to be lurking down an alley. . .
D) And of course, if there's a YanSim update video, there's also a Jay update on that update! He went exploring the street, which is home to some old forgotten friends (including everyone's favorite rival, Oka!) and some strange new faces, like a mystery person on a boat. There's also a new headmaster tape with lore, and it sounds like Ryoba is REALLY tied up, somehow, with the Saikous. Hmmm. . .
-->And I just got the Valice Multiverse queue done, and answered the comments in my inbox, so it's off to do the thing now! Tomorrow -- well, I have a LOT more free time than expected, as my mom suddenly decided she and my dad should go off antique hunting in New Hampshire tomorrow. So -- yeah. Definitely gonna play some Fallout 4, and I'll probably work on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- or maybe one of my private AUs, since part of the reason I've been in a "faffing about" mood is that those have been on my mind. . . We'll see how it goes. In the meantime, night all!
