Pretty Okay Wednesday

crossover_chickA few more annoyances for me to deal with at work (including more fun with pledge billings -- I thought we'd finally fixed all the problems?), but I actually got out for a (chilly) walk at lunch and got home pretty quick once the day was done, so -- swings and roundabouts? *shrug* I've had much worse days, is what I'm saying. And I'm almost done with the duplicates I was working on, so that's good too. *nods*
Evening's been fairly quiet, though I did accomplish a few things:
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has met Rosa, and -- after a confusing conversation -- made her way up to Dennis and his gang. I'm sending her around to shut off the power before trying to sneak in and maybe disable a few guys quietly -- this is going to go bad, and there's going to be some death. :p But at least she'll get Mercurio's money and the Astrolite! And some new Thinblood acquaintances once she gets back to the beach. . .
-->Watched the "last" episode of "Rags To Enrichment" from James -- "last" in quotation marks because, well, the LP is continuing, he's just changing the name because we're pretty much out of most of the Discover University stuff. Excepting, of course, Bob's job as a teacher, the roommates living with them, the fact they're living in Britechester. . .oh, and yes, Bob and Trash's enormous student loan bills. James's mod to increase the amount of tuition has really bit him in the behind -- not necessarily because they have a lot to pay off, but because the repayment of loans in this game is INCREDIBLY UNFORGIVING. James has had to make payments EVERY DAY on these massive debts, and the repo-people regularly show up to repossess stuff regardless! He lost a couch to them before getting frustrated and just locking them out of the house. Bob and Trash both have great jobs that pay a decent amount, and yet they're scrambling for ways to make money (Trash is writing books, while Bob is tutoring students and painting since he still can't do research papers) because they're such slaves to debt! . . .which is depressingly true to real life, isn't it? Yeah, one of the reasons I think I'll be avoiding the mod. At least watching James's pain is amusing!
-->Also watched Plumbella's reaction to the Sims 4 survey I took yesterday -- she was excited, y'all. Especially about the relationship stuff, with things like adding furious states and having fights between Sims really MEAN something. I'm all for it, as I am all for more vacation destinations, improving in-game careers, adding stuff for kids to do. . .I just wish I could go back and take it again to add in that they need to add the Fear emotion in officially, the cowards. WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT STRANGERVILLE PROVED IT.
-->FINALLY got some pictures off my iPad for a silly three-part photo post I've been meaning to make on tumblr starring Dougie the dragon, Victor Plush, and Alice Dolly.
-->Related, got most of my queue for the next couple of days on tumblr sorted -- still need to decide on my Song Saturday, but I got options.
And I finished up my comments earlier, so it's time to wrap things up and head to bed. Hopefully Thursday is a decent day. . .just pushing on toward that weekend! Don't have any big plans, just, you know, want a weekend. :p Night all!
