Thursday Of Increasing Wind

crossover_chickYeah, we're under a wind advisory up until 10 AM tomorrow. . .and given the temperature is supposed to sharply drop Friday, I think I'll have to bundle up for the ride to work! Then it gets a little warmer over the weekend (snow turning to rain Saturday night into Sunday), then another drop into deep freeze. *grumbles* I think my coworker is right -- February's probably gonna be the worst month for weather. We'll see how it all goes, I guess!
Work itself wasn't too bad -- finished up my duplicates, took care of a few other things, did a bunch of obituaries (since those are piling up too). Good to just get some stuff done and push through to the next day. Just gotta get through Friday now, yay. . .
I also had a decent evening:
-->Mom was having dinner with a friend, so Dad and I watched a couple of random videos I picked. . .including one about making your own "freakshakes," aka those milkshakes that are so incredibly extra you go into sugar shock just LOOKING at them. XD There was one with a brownie on top, one with a donut, one with a mini apple pie thing. . . Sometimes just putting a marshmallow dunker into my hot chocolate gets a little too sweet for me! I think I'd keel over in an insulin-induced faint if I tried one of those.
-->Got another page on "Secundus 2" -- Mayor Gillin is here, and the gang is trying to hide the Grasshopper Teapot as best they can. And hoping the old timers or the bartender doesn't rat them out. . .fortunately, Alice is more than willing to play the "crying pregnant woman" card if she has to. XD We'll see if she does during these edits!
-->GrayStillPlays Marathon tonight! :p We had:
A) Another episode of Altlife, where the name of the game was to become a famous "UToober" and then die from too much gaming -- actual achievements you can unlock in the game. Gray succeeded at both, though he also had to become a porn star on the side to get enough capital to get his channel going. His virtual channel specialized in horrible ASMR videos and giving away stuff. XD Livin' the dream! Until he died from playing a game for 30 hours without a break.
B) Another episode of Prayr, which featured more of Gray's terrible god Oh Shi. . . . answering the prayers of the Regrets + Bud Light religion (otherwise known as Florida Men). Or, rather, denying most prayers to see what happened, while answering a few that he thought were funny. Mutated children, extra nipples, and a possible zombie apocalypse resulted. (Okay, that last one is a stretch, but it's the game's own fault for calling the person praying a zombie when they were asking for a cure for their sick dad!) Also Gray let a sentient AI try to take over the world, and the game crashed right after, so that was amazing. XD
C) A look at To The Pit With You, a terrible game with ASCII "graphics" and utterly ridiculous dialogue options, about sacrificing people to a pit in an attempt to gain immortality. Gray happily tossed in some random old dude, the jerk annoying him, and his lover, but then got screwed out of the deal because of course he did. Damn immortal angel coworkers. . . (Yes, this is a thing in the game, apparently.)
D) A look at Drinks With Abbey, a "dating simulator" where there doesn't seem to be any right answers and the titular Abbey has a bit of an -- explosive personality at times? Like she'll be very calm for a while, and then go "get me my straw, bitch!" if you point out to the waitress she forgot the straw in Abbey's drink. Granted, Gray was the one choosing the options where you express interest in her breasts and attempt to rough up her brother on the suspicion he's a rival, soooo. . .
-->Getting the next couple of days in my Victor Luvs Alice queue sorted -- got Saturday and the first half of Sunday in the bag! I should dedicate some time this long weekend to hunting some some more posts to stick in the drafts for queuing purposes. . .
-->Doing some more on that headcanon post over on Valice Multiverse I've been working on -- it's just about done! I'm hoping to finish up the last few questions by this weekend so I can POST the darn thing!
And now I have to finish up the Valice Multiverse queue (if it needs it), do the comments in my inbox, and head to bed. Just one more day to get through, and then weekend, yaaay~ No special plans beyond YouTubing and playing my video games, but we'll see what happens. :) Night all!
