Feeling Annoyed and Jittery
Jan. 17th, 2020 11:43 pmWhich -- isn't too much of a surprise, as I KNOW I'm coming up on my next period, and thus must be PMSing. . .it's just -- unpleasant, you know? Like I want to go running for miles, except not really (and I've got nowhere to run to in any case?) and it makes me all "grrr." The ride home didn't help -- I ended up having to cut through the city because there was some heavy congestion just past the light where I usually go to get on the highway. Congestion that abruptly broke up THE MINUTE AFTER I TURNED. I was so pissed off, but by that point, I was committed to the city route. . . Ugh. And then, later on tonight, Mom ended up spilling what I guess was essentially half a can of soda all under the microwave and down into the gap between the fridge and the counter, meaning the fridge had to be moved so it could all be cleaned. . . Not a great way to start off a three-day weekend, is what I'm saying.
All right, trying not to focus on the little things that have been annoying me -- let's have a quick wrap-up of the day before I get to the Friday Night Writing Thing:
-->Work was pretty okay -- more obituaries, mainly, though I did clean up some other duplicates
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- working my way through taking care of Dennis's gang! I have discovered that it is a rare person indeed who does what I did when I did the quest, which is sit and listen to some of the NPC conversations. I have to remind myself that none of the dialogue in this fic has to be exactly true to the games -- in fact, it probably won't be, as Alice doesn't typically talk like the in-game Malkavian. Honestly, I think this'll start going smoother once I get Victor into the mix and thus can start switching POVs when I feel like something from Alice's perspective is dragging. These early quests are tough when it comes to that!
-->Had some hot chocolate and one of my marshmallow dunkers because it was le cold today -- om nom nom.
-->Watched James's latest episode of Planet Zoo -- the viewing area for the Africa exhibit has changed a loooot. Now instead of two raised platforms, there' one raised one and one ground-level one with a ton of one-way glass windows. It's very cool, and making the zoo tons of money. He's also hired some more staff, got some new buildings put in, and even got a new small exhibit animal -- some spiders that he can breed for lots and lots of money. XD And he told us the next couple of episodes will be special, because he'll be working on his zoo with the people who made the game! So that'll be cool. :)
-->Watched the latest "Fun With Shorts" -- a dull little short about playing in the snow enlivened by Josh's riffs. I mean, what even is the point of some of these clips? I guess if you wanted to know a little more about skiing, this gave you a few pointers. . .
-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done -- more than I expected, but a couple of the asks were somebody submitting an ask under their actual name, and then "uh hey could you delete the 'actual name' version of the ask and only post the anon?" Which I was happy to do. Didn't get a chance to do anything with the headcanon meme, but I'll work on that tomorrow.
-->And got the comments in my inbox sorted, yay me.
Okay, Writing Thing ho. Tomorrow -- Linkara, OXBox, Fallout 4, undetermined writing. *nods* Night all!

Date: 2020-01-19 03:44 pm (UTC)Yamper is the corgi, then you have Beautifly on Victor's head, Dustox by his bent leg, Butterfree on his knee, and Venomoth on the easel (which I know Victor wouldn't be using but since the model in the pose references is a woman the "sitting drawing" poses were very feminine in the way the legs were positioned and I didn't want to do that to him). The very colorful one on the left is Vivillion, and on the right is Mothrim in the middle and Frosmoth on the bottom.
Since there's eight there and teams are limited to six, he hasn't necessarily caught 'em all. Yet. :)

I believe he has an easel in one of the animation tests too, if you look at the special features? Er, anyway -- Vivillion I'm at least somewhat familiar with, as one of my RP Victors picked up the first evolution (Scatterbug) in a thread, and Beautifly and Butterfree look like I've seen them before too -- the others are new! So I've learned something today, cool. :p
LOL -- he's just happy enough to have them nearby so he can draw them. XD
