Little Annoyances Wednesday
Feb. 26th, 2020 11:23 pmWorse-than-usual traffic this morning for no reason I could see; the computer program we use to look up stuff from our processors glitched out weird and we had to contact their IT guy to fix it; the online site was loading super slow all day; I found more gift issues that need to be fixed because the right numbers can't be assigned to the right places; and I've had my wifi go out briefly for no reason twice tonight -- once when I was trying to queue something. *grumbles* Why is it relatively minor annoyances can add up so quickly?
Ah well -- trying not to think about that. Let's try and focus on accomplishments instead:
-->Got a bunch of returned mail back out the door, which is good! Plus the day was pretty quiet -- one major project looming tomorrow, but we'll see how it goes.
-->Got in a quick workout because today was definitely not a "walk" day -- keeping up with the exercise, yay~
-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has successfully purchased morphine for Mercurio from Trip, and is on her way back over to his place to deliver it and the Astrolite. Time to set the first act of the main plot in motion!
-->Watched three CallMeKevin videos:
A) Yoostar 2, a Kinect game where you take the place of a character in a variety of different movie clips and have to act out their part as best you can. Kevin struggled with getting the lines right for most of them, but actually did pretty well with a certain iconic scene from 300. THIS IS JIM PICKENS!
B) Lakeview Valley, a game that I guess is supposed to SORT OF make you think of "Stardew Valley," only instead of farming there is copious amounts of snakebite and murder. Kevin got a little too enthusiastic early on with the killing and kept getting caught or dying, but managed to find a groove and slaughter some weirdo coming on to him in the woods. And steal a motorbike. And eat a very trippy mushroom. XD I mean, he literally named the guy "Murderer" and put him in a prison outfit, what do you expect?
C) Island Time, a virtual reality game about surviving on a tiny island with a crab buddy. Kevin -- struggled, to stay the least. XD He managed to get lighting things on fire down -- unfortunately, the first thing he lit on fire was himself. XD And then there was knocking down coconuts, and spearing fish, and singing "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. . .his best time at surviving was six minutes, which probably tells you all you need to know. XD
-->Also watched the latest episode of "LEGO Masters" which was movie themed -- again, had some great builds, and THIS time one of the teams I liked best got proper recognition. Also some cool special guests, so that was nice.
-->While that was going on, Mom and I also managed to finish the puzzle! :D She and Dad managed to finish up the orcas and dolphins, and then she and I filled in the remaining water pieces during the commercial breaks on the show! So that is completed, w000~ No more giving myself neck cramps in my distraction. :p
-->Just finished up my VictorLuvsAlice queue for tomorrow -- reblogged all the answers to my questionnaire that I could track down. :) Yay people liking my thing~
So that's all good -- now I just have to take care of whatever comments I still have laying around, and we'll be good for the night. Two more days to go! Night all!
