crossover_chick: Victor on the ground with one hand up with the text "Nooo! Anything but the fangirls!" (CB: save Victor from the fangirls!)

Chatty coworkers and lots to do, again revolving around credit card stuff -- and now tax statements going out! Meeeh. . . I found a bit of downtime just doing obituaries and searching out duplicates to clean up, but the afternoon was WAY more stressful than it had any right to be. Hmph. And now we're due snow tomorrow night, and a polar vortex on Friday. . . Damn you, late January! *shakes fist*

Well, I got through the work portion of the day -- how about the evening to-do list?

1. Continue working on the Valice Multiverse "information page" stuff: Check – a late start meant I didn’t get as much as I would have liked done, but I made a solid start on the verse description for “The Technicolor Phase!” Yeah, I decided to add that in as an RP verse – I like the story, and I think it would be cute. :) Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow and get this done this week, so I can start February getting back to my main projects!

2. Keep up best I can with YouTube Subscriptions: Check, if only because I qualified it with “best I can” – I’m still a video down. I decided to save today’s Call Me Kevin for tomorrow, since I neglected Gray yesterday. But tonight we had –

A) Catching up first with James Turner’s latest “3 Brothers” episode – bringing in the Paranormal Stuff pack! James rearranged the house to create a “séance room” and promptly put Brodie in charge of doing ceremonies and communing with the dead. The dead want Brodie to unsubscribe, apparently. XD Not much in the way of haunts yet, but according to the comments, that’s because James keeps leaving the house at the time the hauntings are supposed to start. But on the other hand, what was James supposed to do – not go to the island off the shore of Brindleton Bay and adopt Burger, the Territorial, Mischievous ghost cat? XD And the only time we’ve seen a specter so far, poor Brodie almost burned to death because all of these ceremonies and seances he’s doing are draining his vampiric energy. XD Still, I am intrigued, and I’m looking forward to seeing more in the future! Along with maybe some Snowy Escape stuff. Isaiah got a selfie with the town mascot, at least? XD

B) Then it was time to catch up on GrayStillPlays! We had:

1. Gray’s video from last night – more GTA V stunt races! Two, in fact, both featuring a rainbow of pain. One was multiple sorts of terrible, terrible obstacles to overcome (vertical tubes, wall rides, giant bumps and cliffs in the road, various obstacle dodges); the other focused on Wall Ride Hell. Gray officially now hates shapes, nature, and all colors. XD Though he did have some truly fucking EPIC saves in the latter board – a spin-out that, by rights, should have sent him flying off the board instead resulted in him LANDING BACK ON THE WALL RIDE. And this happened TWICE. Gray was as relieved as all of us! :D Also, it was a video sponsored by a mobile game, so Gray smacked a tablet of his with a sword. Yes, AN ACTUAL SWORD. I don’t know where he got it or why his wife lets him keep it, but yes. Oh man. XD

2. And today, more Happy Wheels! The bottle flips are running out of words to append “yeet” to. XD (Also, Gray can make bottles levitate now under the flipper things, so that’s new.) There was also some very long bottle runs, an impossible spike fall Gray cheesed by not going through the actual fall (which is good, because it was genuinely impossible – the spikes MET at the very bottom), a couple of flavors of meteor drop, a strange “fall through the obstacles” board where Gray’s guy kept getting turned into paste (except for when his butt brushed the win platform), and an impossible jet wall where Gray found the secret “just drop down and win” platform, but refused to stop until he actually got past the wall itself. (Tom Hardy making it past the wall turned out to be entirely optional. XD) Ahh, good stuff, good stuff.

3. Get in a workout: Check! Another bike ride (in a hoodie, because damn our basement is cold right now) led to a chance to finish up episode 45 of Jon’s Fallout 4 Survival Playthrough! Rejoined Grills and Nick in Kendall Hospital, aka the former Augusta Safehouse – Grills attracted more raiders by slamming a counter bell he found repeatedly (as someone who has worked retail with one of those, you should be shot for that, Grills), then took them out without issue, including a legendary who almost had good gear – Assassin’s (which reduces damage from humans), but it was on low-tier raider gear, so John left it. With the raiders all killed, Augusta’s last report collected, and presumably the caps found (Jon apparently didn’t put it on-screen if he did locate them?), the pair headed back to base so Grills could do a bit of fiddling with his Irradiated Submachine Gun. Couldn’t get it much lighter, but Jon decided it was worth taking along for a little while as he and Nick went on another adventure.

Next adventure? Going to a sinkhole full of ghouls for, presumably, revenge against them tearing one of Jon’s earlier characters apart in a different LP. XD Along the way, they ran into Art vs Art, a random encounter where you find a synth and the human he was supposed to replace fighting – except everything had already kicked off by the time they arrived, and both Arts turned on Grills and Valentine, forcing the pair to kill both (and showing the Irradiated Submachine Gun wasn’t nearly as good when it wasn’t being used on Grills). They found their way to Cambridge Crater without much trouble after that. . .but then, while Jon was trying to stealthily pick off ghouls, Nick managed to attract the attention of a few of the worst, forcing Jon to start wanging grenades around. And then a Servomech Eyebot and a Tankbot showed up, crippling both of Grills’s arms in the explosion after he took them out. And then a Brotherhood Vertibird showed up and dropped off some Knights to take care of some nearby Scrapbots. Lovely day in the Commonwealth. XD

With that all out of the way, Jon directed Grills and Nick up to Wattz Electronics because they were in the area, and they might as well take out the Courser there for the Railroad. Jon tried to set a trap by activating all the robots in the place with their never-turned-off military programming, but apparently the Courser and the Assistant Manager Mr. Handy he was supposed to be fighting made friends, so Jon grabbed his issue of Total Hack (to increase his options when hacking Protectrons), then went around to the balcony on the other side of the office everyone was in and basically picked them all off with his Explosive sniper rifle (which is definitely doing the job). XD On the way out, they passed by Plumber’s Secret, but to Jon’s disappointment, it was literally just a plumbing supplies store. Ah well. More adventures next time – starting with Episode 46, Grills and Nick are making their way up to the Nakano residence to sail away to Far Harbor! :D Should be fun!

4. Find Mom an e-card for her birthday: Check, though it was harder than anticipated – while I found a card with a funny video right off the bat, I couldn’t actually send it to her e-mail address! Apparently she’s got some sort of block setting for the site I was using? Even she couldn’t figure out what was going on. . . Dad’s e-mail was accepted, though, so I was able to schedule the card to be delivered there on Wednesday. *shrug* Whatever works!

5. Get my Newcrest Adventure update for Wednesday started: Check! Slid in with a last-minute check here, admittedly, but I still got all the pictures sorted and drafted out the posts! Gotta actually add the proper text tomorrow, but they are started, and that’s all that counts.

*nods* Got it all done! Maybe not with the best time management, admittedly, but it is all done. :p And now I just have to answer my DW comment and head to bed. Why must this be a full week, bleh. :( Well, just gotta get through it one day at a time. . . Night all!
