Emmett Brown Has Grown Up
Feb. 19th, 2005 05:03 pmJust played Sims 2, Twin Oaks Park. First played a couple days of the Von Nostrands. Jane is quite the social butterfly, having firm footholds with passerby Pamela and welcome wagoner Angard. She and Chris get along well, as well as Chris and Kat -- Kat and Jane, not so much. Everyone has a job -- Chris in Business, Jane in Politics, Kat in Science. Unfortunately, at his first day at work, Chris got demoted on a bad chance card. *sigh* Oh well, hopefully I can get him re-promoted quickly. Jane has an insanely long work day -- 9 AM to 6 PM! She came home in a terrible mood. Luckily she has the next day off. It's the same thing with Kat, unfortunately. Hopefully I can achieve some sort of balance between school and her job. Most probably by getting her into Private School -- it IS one of her wants.
Then it was over to the Von Brauns to get Emmett grown up. Sarah was the first one up, and while she was greening and cleaning up bottles, I caught this cute pic of Emily sleeping:
Sleepy
Emmett eventually woke up, waking Emily. She played with her bear as Sarah freed Emmett and let him go potty. Since Emily unfortunately has, at the moment, a very low rapport with Emmett, I promptly set about having them interact.
Who's a Silly Boy?
Emily also studied cooking, and took to it like a pro -- she already has two cooking points. Sarah also sold a painting for 10 simoeloens.
Elias woke up, greened, bathed Emmett, and ate while the girls continued to study. He also fed Emmett that last bottle of smart milk. Emmett used it on a creativity point.
Rock and Roll
A little girl named Carla happened to pass by -- I had Emily put down the book and talk to her in hopes of making friends. Didn't quite succeed, but a talk on the phone later should rectify that. Elias also got a call from Angard, and they upped their relationship nicely. Around six o'clock everyone aged -- but Emmett didn't age transition. I was puzzled, but as both Emily and Sarah were exhausted, I figured it could wait another day. It turns out auto age transitions happen at 7 PM, not six. Emmett grew up well and became a happy little boy!
I'm a Kid!
And his first act as a new child?
Let's Play Chess, Daddy
-M: *snrrk*-
-M2: I can so see that.-
-D: Hey, there's nothing wrong with a good game of chess.-
Nope. Next I plan to move the family out and into the Brown Mansion -- I just wanted their toddlerhood to be in a simple house.
-VD2: Can't say I blame you, considering how much work we were. Now on to World of Light.-
Gotcha. Later everyone.
