As I was off my computer for a while, then juggling three conversations at once with tumblr peeps. . .let me just give you the round-up:

Work – Another pretty quiet day – one call for a credit card update, then most of the rest of my day was spent looking up who needed to be included and who needed to be excluded from a particular mailing. Along with processing a few gifts. *shrug* It’s a living!

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check! Another thirty on the bike, and another thirty with Jon’s Original FO4 Playthrough! Jon finished up episode one by accidentally sending Miss Jon back down into Vault 111 by pressing the big red button and then stepping back onto the platform; venturing down into Sanctuary Hills and being surprised by how much XP he got for finding it; wandering around taking in the crafting workbenches and whatnot; and talking with Codsworth and sympathizing with the poor angsty robot – before getting annoyed when he saw the state of Miss Jon’s house. XD Episode Two started with them exploring the neighborhood together, and Jon being downright horrified by how much damage bloatflies do to one, and how few hit points his character has. He got Concord on his map from good old Codsworth, then did some looting so he could do some crafting, figuring out how lockpicking and hacking work along the way (and showing me how you can find little free “remove dud guesses” and “reset your tries” hacky code along the way! Interesting. . .). I ended on him doing a fashion show with Miss Jon before going to upgrade his guns, going through the various outfits she’d picked up (and being quite glad that outfits don’t completely change between genders, so she can wear a snazzy suit if she likes) before settling on a simple shirt-and-pants combo that gives her a little extra Endurance. Oh, and he picked up +1 Agility from the “You’re SPECIAL” book, which really surprised him. It’s fun watching him figure out the game and find all the surprises.

2. Write some more on “Learn To Love Again”: Check! Got through the end of Victor and Alice’s first real chat, with Nell coming to find out what the hell’s been keeping her son – and not being very approving of Alice when she sees her. But then again, that’s just standard for Nell. The two have parted since they both have other engagements (Alice in particular is going to be late for work), but Victor’s already asked to see her again. And Alice has agreed, since she’s surprised him by being so friendly. Though she’s due another surprise by the end of the chapter. . .

3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Two-thirds check – the threat of a thunderstorm this evening kept me off the computer for about a half-hour, meaning I couldn’t watch everything. I’m just glad the worst of the weather was over soon enough for me to watch two!

A) Went ahead and watched James Turner’s latest Cottage Living LP episode in an effort to keep on top of the longer stuff – renovations have happened, namely the entire house (minus the chicken coop) has been moved back, along with the pond! James felt it made more sense for it to be closer to the middle of the lot, and it does look more natural back there. We also had to “renovate” Chaz, as for some reason all of his outfits lost at least their pants. O.o Have no idea what happened there. . . At any rate, as usual most of the episode was taking care of the farm – James has gotten all the oversized veggies into their proper rows now, though he isn’t having much luck with the sprinkler system. Lucky it rains a fair bit in this world now! He also successfully completed errands for Kim the Grocer and Rahul the Grocery Deliverer, traveling briefly to Windenberg to get the latter a picture of somewhere that ISN’T Henford-On-Bagley because the kid wants to travel. It’s actually kind of cute, seeing his storyline with his adopted mom (though it does lose a little something from them not actually calling each other by name. . .I assume this is because the errands are tied to their ROLE and not the specific Sims, meaning you could end up with different mayors and deliverers if you had short lifespans or something). And he’s gotten his first harvest of golden wool from a llama, for ANOTHER errand for Kim! So that’s nice. . .maybe not as nice as Golden Chicken that can help with the gardening, though. :p Basically it’s been very busy and it’s a wonder the brothers ever have time to sleep. XD

B) Then I hit up GrayStillPlays and another GTA V stunt board! The theme of this one? ESCAPE FROM HELL! And not by falling through the death hole in the floor into the sky. XD Gray had to pilot a wind turbine up the lowermost layer of hell; then a motorcycle with women literally stacked all over it through a variety of people doing pole-dancing and off a bunch of beds for the lust stage; then walk his way through the gold-filled greed stage (leaping off a tower to his death by accident once); then drive the Loch Ness Monster through the rage stage, complete with fire, fake choices, fake floors, and terrible jumps. And at the very end. . .he found himself back in exploding hell with people shooting at him all the time. Because either the whole thing was a metaphor for how Gray can never escape his self-inflicted hell, or the creator genuinely thinks that’s what Gray’s Heaven looks like. XD Either way, good times!

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check! Made a point to get the Victor Luvs Alice stuff sorted before going down for my workout – finished up the text on the final part of the Newcrest Adventures update, then queued that and my selected reblogs. Still have to decide on something for Saturday, but I’ll do that tomorrow so it’ll remind me to put the queue speed back to one post a day.

As for Valice Multiverse, two thread replies, one ask – nothing too difficult, but with the gap in my evening, I did feel a bit squeezed. At least it’s done!

And now I just have to wrap things up online and head to bed -- hopefully there's no big storms overnight! And they're right about the weather improving after this. . .we'll see. Night all!
