Yeah, first full day of my period meant that I have been fighting off bouts of tired and general distraction all day. Fortunately my workday was relatively quiet (mostly obituaries with a few credit card things sprinkled in), so that wasn't too much of an issue. And my evening -- well, let's look at the to-do list:

1. Continue working on the Valice Multiverse "information page" stuff: Check! Revised some bits of “Fallout of Darkness” and “The Technicolor Phase” and did some more tag clean-up, both before and after supper. I still need to flip some tags around, but yeah, this should be ready to go up in a doc for general consumption tomorrow!

2. Keep up best I can with YouTube Subscriptions: Check! Did not expect to blow through ALL of the videos I had waiting, but look at me go –

A) What with getting some of my writing done before supper, I decided I had enough time to listen to the latest Wyrd Sisters Podcast, which dropped yesterday! Book this month was Carpe Jugulum, the story that somehow mocked Twilight before it ever appeared on shelves. XD As usual, the podcast happily fanned over all the good moments (like Agnes rejecting Vlad with a boot to the groin, or Oates turning an ax into a holy symbol via vampire decapitation), but didn’t gloss over the less-good bits (the female members of the Magpire vampire family don’t get as much characterization as the male ones; Agnes kind of ends up a side character in a book that ought to have focused more on her; the phoenix thing doesn’t tie that well to vampire lore and thus feels a bit weird). They’re always informative and fun, and I look forward to them every month.

B) After that, we had Call Me Kevin going on a Hitman 3 murder spree, yay! Specifically a murder spree on-stream in the level set in England with the private detective. The private detective who became 47’s personal butt-monkey – Kevin knocked him out early to steal his clothes and get in, and the whole mess apparently badly confused the AI, who kept showing up at the house, occasionally wandering around inside, then going back to his car because it didn’t know what to do. He also kept magically pulling clothes out of an armoire in the mansion, confusing the hell out of Kevin because he’d already stolen the guy’s outfit, so how. . . XD Knocking the poor bastard out, then going around killing became one of the big running jokes of the video. The other was one of Kevin’s subscribers being nice and gifting some subs to the chat, and Kevin promptly declaring that he’ll kill all the gardeners in the subscriber’s name, which escalated to Kevin blaming him for all the murders. XD And of course there were the murders themselves, which ranged from “Kevin knocks out people with his briefcase and snaps their necks” to “Kevin takes an ax to the mansion staff” to “Kevin throwing bodyguards looking at all the bodies off a balcony” to “Kevin takes out the target mid-introduction by shooting down the chandelier.” XD It was amazing. We ended with Kevin dumping the unfortunate detective down a well and then walking off into a field. Mike couldn’t have done better. :D

C) And finally, rather late but it’s Friday, so fuck it, I’m gonna watch it anyway – GrayStillPlays more Happy Wheels! :D The bottle flips get increasingly weird (people just cramming in every reference to his other videos and weird thing they can think of), and Gray continues to pull off the impossible. XD We also had a harpoon run where the only way to win was to take the secret path – because trying to get past the “one” harpoon made the game freeze due to all the harpoons stacked on each other firing at once; “Plinko” with creepy messages saying the creator has been watching Gray for years (and also there were homing bombs waiting for just the right ball throw); a very narrow spike fall; a jet wall run with a frankly shocking number of jets to somehow get past; and an inverted bottle run – that is, the board creator found a way to turn the character UPSIDE-DOWN to complete it. XD Fantastic. Oh, and another mobile game sponsored Gray, so he killed a laptop with this OTHER sword he owns – seriously, he owns at least TWO swords, what the hell. XD

3. Get in a workout: No check today, on the basis of “I’m on my period and very tired and don’t want to.” I will have to catch up with Grills, Nick, and possibly Longfellow taking out feral ghouls in the National Park Campground in Far Harbor either tomorrow or Sunday!

So yeah -- burned all of my focus tonight on those first two items. Good thing I don't (currently) have anything to put in my tumblr queues tonight! I only just got through my webcomics. . .hopefully I'll be a little better tomorrow. As it stands, I should probably make up my to-do list for Saturday and try to answer some DW comments:

1. Clean my room and do the monthly laundry dump (sheets, blankets, bathrobe, pajamas)

2. Finish cleaning up tags for my Valice Multiverse verses document and get it up and publicly available on my RP blog

3. Keep up on YouTube Subscriptions and try to get at least the latest Sims-related videos out of my Watch Later

4. Play Untitled Goose Game and attempt more of the "to-do (quickly!)" challenges

5. Answer my friend's FF.net PM

Wondering why #4 isn't Sims 4? MC Command Center still doesn't have a patch hotfix that I can see, but there is a whole new release that should include an update for the latest patch coming soon, so I figure I can wait it out this weekend. And I'm not stressing myself out trying to figure out Fallout 4's situation while on my period and cleaning my room. *shakes head* Save that for Sunday.

Anyway -- time to claw out a tiny bit more productivity here and answer that comment. Then -- dunno. Probably just mooch around Nexus Mods or something until I give up and go to bed. :p Night all!
