Another "Notes" Entry
Sep. 15th, 2005 10:54 pmA) Some big news first -- OckDoc's back! If you've read Lisa's Blog, you'll know that she and her boys had a farewell party for him tonight, then he came back home. He brought cake, which my muses are making short work of. Welcome back, OckDoc. :)
B) Speaking of my fanart muse, I finished up my picture! :D Marty's face is a little chunky, and George's hair is kinda weird -- Doc looks good though. I'll scan it in and submit it tomorrow afternoon -- too late tonight. *OckDoc and tentacles beam*
C) I've also managed to kick myself in the ass a bit, storywise. I've posted the second chapter of "Back To The Future Part III 1/2" on Back To The Vampire (incidentally, I know it's mostly repeats for most of you, but go ahead and check the stories out -- I do some editing before I post chapters so there will be some minor differences). I've also put up "In Focus," my September BTTFF LJ challenge fic (I know, shock, horror -- but it's a REALLY short fic) -- see it here or on Back To The Vampire -- FF.net isn't cooperating yet. And I've added Chapter 7 to "Eight Arms to Hold You" -- read it here.
-M: Wow, that's good.-
Yeah. The devART version of that chapter won't go up until tomorrow, though -- like Chapter 6, it's pretty long and I have to hand-code.
-VuM: *mouth full of cake* Hust so long as ith geths up.-
D) Have not gotten Nightlife yet -- seriously considering cashing my next paycheck and seeing about a new video card or something. Looking very much forward to it. Changes to my neighborhoods include:
Strangetown:
->Mysteria Lloyd and Josephine Lloyd becoming vampires
->Mysteria Lloyd becoming a Pleasure-Seeker (I don't like her as Romance) *VampDoc rejoices*
Twin Oaks Park:
->John Morte, Arazel Morte, and Mark Mathews all becoming vampires, and John turning Holly as well
-H: Woo, cool!-
->Somebody getting Grilled Cheese Aspiration for a short while
->Emmett's Turn-Ons will include glasses and (if they allow aspirational turnons) Knowledge Sims. His TurnOff will either be Romance Sims or -- hmm. We'll see.-
->If at ALL possible, I want Holly to befriend the Gypsy Matchmaker. :D
Hill Valley:
->Rebuild Future Fest as a Nightlife club
->Make a Multi-Temporal downtown -- different versions of the Clocktower, Lou's Cafe, that sort of thing. The main neighborhood community lots will all be normal 1985, this allows me to bring in other time periods.
->Biff Tannen will suffer the Grilled Cheese Aspiration at some point. *VampDoc2 laughs*
->Check out all turn-ons and turn-offs -- if necessary, reset so married/going steady couples are still attracted to each other (actually, this applies to all neighborhoods)
Oooo, I'm gonna have fun. . . .
-TD: Hey, don't forget your stories. Bad enough you skipped writing for the picture.-
I was on a deadline. Things will be back to normal next week, I promise.
E) Two final things: One, a funny pic I had of Kat that I forgot to show. She had a TV dinner for dinner, and burned it -- but it didn't stop smoking until AFTER she ate it:

And two, Monster House this week rocked -- Ghost Town House really should have been called Old West/Slightly Steampunkish/Make Me Go Squee House. :D Details Here.
The Gold Mine Living room is rather gaudy, but damn, I want a steam train barbeque!
-D: Steam train barbeque?!-
*shows*
-TD: I'm on it! *disappears into lab*-
Okay, gotta get to bed now.
