Day One of NaNoWriMo: Not-So-Slow Start

Although I was out most of the day -- we went to lunch with a friend of my Mom and Dad's, it was her birthday last week -- I'm still making some pretty good progress on my NaNoWriMo novel "Graffiti." applescruffs85 suggested that I try for a goal of 2,000 words per day, so I'm gonna do that. Minimum is 1,667 words per day, as that would allow me to make wordcount (50,000) in the 30 days almost exactly (I'd be 10 words over).
-TD: *groan*-
Hey, we didn't tell you to eat all that sugar.
-TD: *glare at me* I didn't realize it would have such awful side effects.-
-E: Poor Emmett. Is there anything I can get you?-
-TD: A hacksaw so I can amputate my own head.-
-H: I'd pay to see that.-
-E: Holly!-
*snrrk*
-D: You aren't giving up on fanfiction for this, are you?-
Nope, I actually completed another chapter on "Teen Doc" today. The story looks to be about eight chapters in total.
-M: Great, when are you going to start sending it out?-
I dunno -- probably once I finish "Eight Arms To Hold You."
-OD: Whatever happened to Reality Check 2?-
I really get caught up in what I'm doing at the moment. Poke me to finish the intro page so I have some motivation to edit it and get it up.
-OD: *Albert pokes* The other kids and I will continue to poke you for fanart.-

In other news, I got the 12th Lemony Snicket book today, the Penultimate Peril. Yay for new things to read.

Sims and more tomorrow. I need to write some more on "Boy Genius" and get ready for bed.
