Got some more done in "Graffiti" -- got my 2,000 words out. :) Yay for being dedicated and for being willing to make stuff up on the spur of the moment.
-D: Good for you. Although aren't you a bit concerned about quality?-
Yeah, a bit. But the goal here is quantity, not quality. I can clean it up and make it better once I've got 50,000 words out of it. I really want to win this thing.
-VD: And I suppose it'll be easier once you have a rough draft "on paper," as it were.-
Exactly. :D
Strangetown Sims today -- the Smyth-Jones and the Hardname families. They're both doing all right. It was Friday for the Smyth-Joneses -- I had them both ReNuYu, then had Adelaide do some practicing with the surgical dummy. I love seeing the junk they pull out of it.

J.C. amused herself by making breakfast and calling up her friend River to chat before school.

It was off to school and work for the both of them, then -- J.C. got the Spelling Bee Champion chance card and 225 simoleons in prize money. She came home hungry, bored, and needing to pee. I had her make some Grilled Cheese -- thus discovering reason 429 to love my new video card. Turns out her shirt is not just plain purple like I had thought, but rather has a flowery design on it.

After eating and doing her business, I had her call Jennifer and play some bass.

Adelaide came home at six with a promotion to Specialist. I used her bonus to help build a garage for the house. They're the only family to actually have a garage at the moment.

-TD: *giggle* A Smoogo?-
Hey, it's all they can afford at the moment. Don't want them ending up like Gil and Agatha. Anyway, Adelaide got invited out for a night on the town by Henry -- I accepted, and she ended up at Lucky's Card Shack with Henry, Jim, Gypsy, and Ariana. Funny thing, Adelaide happens to have chemistry with both Hardname boys. Adelaide alternated her time between chatting up Gypsy and making friends and playing cards with Henry, Gypsy, and random townie. Lost 20 simoleons on an 100 simoleon bet, unforunately.

She found a little time for romance with Henry, too. According to Henry, she's hot stuff.

Adelaide ended the outing early due to exhaustion and went back home to bed -- although I got a good picture of Gypsy indulging at the juice bar before she left.

-M: *snrrrrk*-
-D: *blush* That's my girl.-
Hehe. J.C. did her homework, ate, and also went to bed. I saevd and proceeded to visit the Hardnames. The boys both ReNuYued as well (they both liked STINK), then set about earning a few skills. It was their day off (Monday) so I wasn't worried about them staying up late.

They ended up having a delicious breakfast of gelatin before first light. :p Seriously, for poorer Sims, gelatin is a good meal, staying good for 24 hours.

Jim then proceeded to get down to the tunes on the radio, thus proving he needs a dance lesson.

At light, Jim called Bella while Henry cleaned up his messes, then they both took naps until noon. Henry had Ariana Roase over to get to know Jim -- I plan for Ari to be Jim's future wife, now that Mystie has changed aspirations and is planning on being faithful to Doc. Jim and Ariana got along well, and Jim does think she's hot (I changed his turnons to match her).

Henry also spent a bit of quality time with Ari, and showed that he wasn't much better than Jim at dancing.

After Ariana left, there was more gelatin eating and a call from Adelaide for Jim -- Jim talked about how cute Ari was. :p

Henry then had Adelaide over, where she serenaded him (I love that) and they shared some gossip. I think I'll have them get engaged shortly -- maybe use the surprise engagement on a date.
-J: Awww, that would be cute.-

And now that it is pretty late (I've been looking up stuff on Wikipedia), I'd best head to bed. Keep it quiet, guys.
-VD: We'll do our best.-
