crossover_chick | Getting Stuff Done

Working on "BTTX-2" currently, also writing on "Dusky Past" and doing a bit of written "Boy Genius" for good measure (to make up for my lazy weekend). Also made some revisons to "Liquid Chocolate" and "V.D." yesterday.

-TD: Yes! The beauty of the puppet pals is that things don't have to be completely perfect. Besides, I thought you were going to do Girl Genius ones anyway.-

Strangetown Sims alert! Today the house was the good old Clayton Mansion -- I hesitate to say castle at the moment, I need to rework it to make it look like a proper castle.
-VD: So long as the girls are happy.-
They are. Today was mostly a skilling/training day for them, actually, as a number of them had wants to earn skills. Jennifer spent her morning working at the medical dummy Gypsy picked up.

I know she's supposed to be shocked, but doesn't it look like she's laughing when she pulls the rocket out?
-J: Hey, I'd be laughing too.-
I know. She eventually got Clara to help her get the mechanical point. Clara's useful for teaching, her skills are nearly maxed out.

In fact, she maxed out her Creativity that night, with some serious piano playing.

However, she's not perfect yet -- still has a little ways to go with Body. I think all the adults ended up running the track today -- I have pictures of Mysteria and Clara, and I know Gypsy did a few runs as well.

Gypsy, incidentally, has made Chief of Staff and thus is at the top of her career track. She's also the one Sim I managed to keep in platinum all day. You go, Gypsy.
-D: *beam*-

Her new goal is to max out all her skills, starting with her Mechanical. She's building up Body nicely as well.

-VD2: Yes, we all know how important barbeque lighters are to the Sim body. How's Josie holding up?-
She's holding steady in her astronaut job -- uniform looks heavy, though. I had her build some skill in Charisma for a future promotion.

She also chatted online with a few people -- dunno if she met any potential mates, though.
-VD2: If she can't be with me, she should at least date the Strangetown head vampire.-
Hmmm, thought. Would make it much easier for her and Mystie to get vamped.

-VD: How's Mystie getting along?-
Just great. :) I bought the crafting benches for the girls so I'd have something for them to do when I don't want them skilling/socializing, and I've decided Mystie will be the main toycrafter of the bunch. I had her make a few Sir-Bricks-A-Lots.

-VD: *baffled* Sir-Bricks-A-Lot?-
-M2: Ooookay. . . .-
It's the Sim equivalent of the pet rock. I let Mystie keep her first effort. There are few things weirder than a Sim petting and cooing to a brick. (I suspect one of them is the Sim teaching the brick a trick.)

-J2: . . . If only that was the REAL Mystie, it would be perfect blackmail material.-
LoL. Clara, of course, made toy robots.

She and Gypsy will focus on Robotery, while Josie will do Flower-Crafting.
-M: Are you planning on them opening their own shop now?-
Actually, I might just do that. Have to be run by one of the other girls, though, as Clara's committed to Show Them All! Electronics. I was thinking Josie or Gypsy -- Mystie's a Pleasure Sim and I doubt she'd want the responsibility.
-VD: Yes, in my world, she's quite content with her janitor job. Says it leaves her plenty of free time for hobbies.-
Thought so. The crafting stations and such have brought some necessary changes to the top floor -- specifically, I added a couple of bathrooms, and later some comfy chairs and a table for thinking caps.

Hence why it's not a castle at the moment. I'll fix it up eventually. Though I would have been happier if everything had fit on the first floor. With multi-story houses, it's easy to lose people.
-DW: You seem to do just fine.-
Thanks. :) Anyway, it wasn't all work and no play -- the girls did get to have fun. The bubble blower remains popular, and my Sims seem to share my love of pinball. (It's only the arcade machines I hate in the game -- I can stand pinball.)

Jennifer shored up a few relationships outside of her main friends -- a few people are looking rather neglected.

But relations between the girls remain okay. Mystie and Josie especially seem to like each other -- more like the relationship in "World of Light" rather than "Judgement Day."

-VD2: I'm glad to see that. I have to know, though -- why was Josephine such a bitch in the VDC world?-
-VD: I'm curious as well.-
To be honest, I'm not sure. It's possible that living in a better world made her less hesitant of breaking out of places like mental institutions. Part of the reason your Josie tolerated that situation was because she actually felt safer inside than out. A hopped-up druggie could do some damage to even a vampire, and they taste terrible to boot.
-VD2: *surprised* So a better situation actually made her worse?-
Could be. I'll have to think about this some more.
-VM: I think you're just playing a favorites game and like Mystie more than Josie.-
If anyone's winning a favorites game, it's GYPSY. You'll notice SHE'S the one who made it into my beloved Twin Oaks Park.
-VM: Good point.-
-D: *smug grin*-
-VD: Hey, at least our girlfriends are properly in our series.-

Heh, yeah. My "Girl Genius" fanning isn't over by a longshot. But I admit to being intrigued by a "furry" BTTF. I mean, what species would you have?
-M: I thought it was obvious for me.-
Well, I guess -- I suppose it would be hard for anyone to not think of you as a type of fox, given your actor. And of course I think of Doc as a wolf and Clara as a coyote. George I believe would be a turtle (coming out of his shell in the first movie) or a rabbit (running scared). Lorraine struck me as a cat from Lea referring to the younger version as a "cat in heat" -- thing is, I also see Jennifer as a cat.
-J: Let me guess, the long naps thing.-
LOL, that does help. Biff would be one of those junkyard dogs people train to be mean -- bulldog or a pit bull. (Or perhaps a jackass? I mean, he already is. . . .)
