I Hate My Body

Note to body -- though it is nice to get warning of my period before I end up ruining a pair of panties and my pajama bottoms, I'd prefer it if the warning didn't come at 6:30 A.M. again. I'm just lucky I was able to fall back asleep so quickly. Ugh.
-D: *all wet* I'll make sure our chocolate supplies are satisfactory.-
Heh, thanks. *notes wetness* What, you guys jump in the pool already?
-VD: *also wet* It's finally summer again! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy the water.-
I hope you cleaned that pool out first.
-TD: Not to worry. We built a powerful pool vacuum and filtration system that left the water sparkling clean.-
-DW: *nodnod* We added a bit of new chlorine, and then it was time to test out the diving boards.-
:) Well, I'm glad you guys had fun.
-VD2: We did indeed! We're getting out the barbeque tonight so those of us still capable of digesting solids can enjoy it.-
-TD: I've already got a bunch of ideas on how to improve it.-
I feel better already. ;)
-OD: You do seem unusually cheerful for someone who just got her friend.-
Welll, you see, I got a nice little review in the e-mail today. . . .
-VD: Oh? Which story?-
"It's a Lifestyle." The commenter, Moonlady, wanted to let me know--
that she'd drawn some fanart of furious!VampDoc.
*SQUEE* Fanart! I've inspired fanart! Pretty darn good fanart too! *leaps into VampDoc's arms -- getting all wet, but doesn't care*
-VD: *looking over me* Hey, that isn't bad! The hair looks appropriately floofy.-
I know! And I have TOTAL goggles-lust. :D
-DW: That's your thing now? Goggles?-
Yup. Goggles are for the win.
-TD: I would like to have time to experiment, Victoria.-
I refer you back to "The Downside of Goggles."
-TD: *snort* Oh, yes, true. *evilmadscientistgrin*-
*swoooooon*
-TD: O.O I didn't mean to do that. . . .-
-VD2: . . . I wonder if I could make her pass out by wearing the black trenchcoat. . . .-
-OD: *tentacles chatter* The kids think you should try and get SG-1's Daniel's new leather coat from him.-
-D: I can't believe we're actually talking about this!-
-VD: It's a few moments of humiliation for what could be an hour or two of freedom!-
-D: . . . Okay, but I think we all draw the line at naked.-
-DW: I say we draw the line at shirtless. And not just for obvious reasons -- you know she likes to give us embarrassing underwear.-
*Docs wince and nodnod*
Okay, I'm awake again. *giggles and fans self* I just can't resist a man in a lab coat.
Speaking of which, I paid a nice vist to the Octavius/Johnson family, to finally get them through their first day there. The first order of business was to get them jobs -- luckily, the computer offered both Science and Criminal careers. Otto's a Project Leader, Rosie is a Cat Burglar. I had them study some skills so they'd be able to advance soon.

The welcome wagon appeared as Rosie was fixing herself some lunch -- to my surprise, it consisted entirely of Clayton/Lloyd girls! Specifically, Clara, Mystie, and Gypsy. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, though -- after all, Clayton Castle is next door.

Rosie and Otto alternated eating lunch and chatting up their new guests, while the unoccupied girls amused themselves with jokes and pillow fights. I also noticed that, by the end of the visit, Otto was hot for Clara -- 3 lightning bolts!
-D: Great Scott.-
-M: *shrug* I guess the game sees that Vic loves Knowledge Sims and decided they're supposed to be hot stuff.-
*snort* Maybe.

Eventually, I had the happy couple dismiss their guests. I had a mission for them -- get new duds. So I sent them off to Amelia's Closet in Bluewater Village. Not a bad-looking place, though I question the wisdom of having the changing room be on the second story.

Otto bought them some new everyday clothes, while Rosie bought formal. Formal really needs a woman's touch. :p

Something of note -- Ariana Roase, my resident Pleasure Sim, was out and about, and I noticed that she and Rosie were practically twins clothing-wise. I think only the color of the top varied. Good thing I changed them -- the look just isn't Rosie to me.

Random exterminator walk-by as they exited the lot. I haven't seen an exterminator since the early days of the game -- I never get cockroaches.

I got them home, cleaned up, and changed into their new clothes. Here's the new everydays -- you'll see their new formals later, at the wedding.

I had them indulge some romantic urges, then sent Rosie to bed so she wouldn't come home from her new job exhausted. Otto stayed up and worked out, wanting a body point. He didn't get it, though.

Rosie got up just in time for her carpool -- she and Otto just barely missed having dinner together.

Then it was to the telescope for Otto while she headed out to earn money.

Otto stargazed for a little while, then I sent him inside to make his first robot. He succeeded admirably. :)

Then it was off to bed for him as I waited for Rosie to get home. She arrived home with a memory of earning 10,000 simoleons -- those college grants add up. I sent her to bed too and saved.

So yeah, nothing too mind-blowing today. I mostly wanted to get them some new clothing. They'll have their wedding in a few days, their-time.
-VD: I hope you haven't been neglecting fan fiction.-
Nope. I got a lot done on "Past Amnesia" this morning (doesn't take me nearly as much time to wash my hair now), and I also got about half of the Girl Genius Puppet Pals inked.
-OD: *tentacles squeak* Oh?-
Yeah -- the fingerpuppet dingbot, and my random Jaeger Borsch. He's a Wulfenbach Jaeger in the purple costume -- dunno if I'll make him the traditional green or a different color.
-OD: Nice. And typing?-
Working on "Boy Genius" and some "BTTX-2" edits. I'm gonna get the next chapter of the latter up by the end of the week.
-VD2: Ahh, good.-
-MDC: Yeah, about time.-
-TD: What about "Boy Genius?"-
Shoot for the end of next week?
-H: We'll hold you to that.-
I'm sure you will.
Okay, time to get back to work -- and perhaps put the fan in my window, I'm warm.
-M: Isn't it great?!-
-D: *all wet* I'll make sure our chocolate supplies are satisfactory.-
