crossover_chick-M: Uh, why?-
-VD: Interesting developement in the RPG?-
I'll say. Looks like Doc is at the center of some sort of temporal gang war. NIFADOT was recently discovered by George and Lorraine, and their head guy, The Shadowed One, admitted that NIFADOT and WADOTAT were having a fight over the Temporal Underworld. Things were supposed to be "honorable," but we all know that couldn't last.
-D: So now people on both sides are trying to kill me?-
We only know for sure about WADOTAT. NIFADOT doesn't seem ready to kill you just yet. And TORO wants you alive.
-VD2: Why does a spanish bull want me alive?-
TORO is the official organization of the time cops -- you know, like John Luke. It stands for Temporal Officers to Restore Omega. Basically, TORO's out to restore CANON. Aaron's description of the Omega timeline was basically the plot of the trilogy.
-OD: *tentacles chitter* I see. So what are our RPG selves up to?-
To recap:
-->George and Lorraine managed to break into NIFADOT headquarters and discover it was some sort of underworld time travel organization. Not only that, they have managed to time travel back to November 5th, 1955! They're currently asleep in a secluded spot.
-->Doc and Marty have been running all over the place. They made it safely to 2015, then tried to hack the River Road tunnel headquarters. A mysterious stranger turned up, gave them some helpful information and a passcard, and vanished. Doc and Marty ended up going back to 1955 and sneaking into headquarters, learning about the plans to restore OMEGA (and RPG Doc's life history). While Doc copied the files to CD, some guys tried to steal the DeLorean. Marty managed to stop them (shot out a tire,) then a fight erupted between two of the organizations. The headquarters were blown up, and Doc and Marty barely escaped with the DeLorean and CD. After getting the tire replaced, they went back to 2015 to try and play the CD. Unfortunately, it was coded to only play on TORO computers. Back to 1955 to try and get back into the tunnel headquarters (on November 4th) -- cordoned off. The High School bunker (aka headquarters of NIFADOT) was also off-limits. So now they're in 1945, and Doc's watching all the videos and absorbing while Marty protects the DeLorean.
-->Jennifer was involved in a brief timeline flux -- kidnapped by Reiley, she was saved by Luke and taken to the headquarters, where she fell asleep. She woke up to find the place burned down! She managed to escape and is currently hiding out at home.
-->Biff -- haven't heard from him in a while, honestly.
-->George55 -- He's going after Biff's car to get his precious stories back.
-TD: . . . And TORO expects to restore canon after all of this.-
*shrug* They have time machines. Anything's possible. You've got to read the thread itself for the full effect.
-VD2: What exactly do you plan to do once you watch all the videos?-
Well, I gotta consult with Shandy, but I don't think Doc and Marty want to recreate Omega much anymore. I mean, YOU'D want to skip the whole "Biff rich and powerful" reality, correct?
-VD2: Hell yes!-
-VM: Can we? Please?-
-VD: What about Clara Clayton?-
I dunno. Like I said, I want to talk to Shandy before doing anything else. I might head back to 1885 just to meet her and see what happens.
-M2: Hang on, isn't Clara playable?-
I would suppose so, but nobody new has jumped into the RPG yet. We'll have to wait and see.
A quick visit to the Baines siblings tonight. We started Sunday off with a bit of red hands. That game is the best, I swear. Fills fun and is great for social.
This led to Joey and Milton becoming best friends, yay. I'm trying to get all the siblings to like each other eventually, so this is a big milestone.
Milton got himself some breakfast while I let the others skill up a bit. Joey wanted Cooking for some reason, while Toby wanted Mechanical and Sally needed Logic for her job.
Then breakfast was served for the others while Milton got down with his bad self.
"No, nobody can have two television sets! Mom said so!"
After breakfast, skilling continued, with Sally getting her Logic points, and Toby racking up a few more Mechanical points. Sally and Milton eventually left for work, leaving Toby and Joey alone. Annoyed by not finding any Medical or Criminal jobs in the paper, I rented a computer. Score! Toby got a Medical job as an EMT.
Since he got the job too late to go to work, I continued the skilling. Joey painted for fun.
Joey also took a nap while Toby had lunch. After refreshing themselves, Joey called Marty, and he and Toby both called Doc.
"No, Joey hasn't gotten in trouble with the law again, as far as we know."
Both Milton and Sally arrive home with promotions -- Milton to Starter, Sally to Waitress. Milton also arrives home with sister Lorraine -- he hugs her and sends her on her way. Never need to use the phone with these two, they ALWAYS bring the other home as a friend when the friend thing happens.
Milton and Toby have a friendly chess game, making proper friends in the process. Now it's down to getting Sally and Milton to be friends.
As night falls, Joey calls up a townie he met, Melissa Fancey.
"Yeah, I had a bit part in a major movie once -- was only about a year old, still in the crib, but still. . . ."
Sally then talks to Joe Statler while Toby has a snooze in his chef's salad.
The three siblings who didn't get a nap go to bed after this -- Joey stays up for a bit, looking at the stars.
Then it's bed for him too, and a save for me.
-DW: Somebody slacked off this morning.-
I know, I know! I'm trying to make it up to you.
-TD: She slacked off on "Boy Genius?" The RPG really is draining her creativity.-
-VD: Write, wench!-
I'm trying! I'm just tired. . . .

-D: We'd have more if you didn't stay up to midnight every night with that RPG!-
