crossover_chickI'm sick of Chapter 1 of "V.D.", and I think I've made all the changes I can. It's done.
-VD: Yes!-
-M2: Onto Chapter 2!-
Yup, onto chapter 2! And I think I'll be able to put up the new chapter of "Boy Genius" pretty soon as well.
-TD: Great! Then will you start typing again?-
Probably, though I'll have to jump right into Chapter 8 -- I'm pretty far ahead by this point.
-VDM: Better than being far behind.-
Yes, I know.
-TD: You'd better not let Agatha hear you calling her that.-
LoL, I won't. But yes, Gil and Agatha over in the college today. The pair started their day off with a nice fire -- apparently Agatha temporarily regressed to klutzy mode. She gave the fireman a big tip for showing up and putting out the flames.
After breakfast and some social stuff was class. The cow showed up and waited around for them to come back, then promptly joy-buzzered Gil.
Gil shooed her away, then Agatha comforted him with a back-rub.
Then Gil hit the robot bench while Agatha served up chef salad.
After grabbing his lunch, Gil took a nice hot bath (robot making is dirty work), then gabbed on the phone with Tamara, a girl he met on campus (his social was getting low). Agatha did some schoolwork and made her own toy robot.
And presto! Just as she completed it, she got her Bronze Robotery badge! Yay!
-TD: All right Agatha!-
As night fell, I made the two of them do some research -- Agatha had the want, and needed to get her grade up just a bit anyway.
Then they chilled with a pillow fight before harvesting the money trees and hitting the sack.
They got up just in time to clean up before exams -- Gil chugged a Instant Meal, while Agatha managed a bowl of cereal.
As usual, they got A+s. Agatha had to go to class directly after her exam, but she and Gil managed to squeeze in a game of red hands. The girl in the background is Gil's friend Demi Love, who obviously thinks he's attractive (she's one of the ones who made me annoyed at the "attraction greetings," as she kissed Gil once).
While Agatha was at her class, (1337 ways to spell lemes, if I recall correctly :p), Gil noted the fridge was looking a tad bare. Not wanting to go to the grocery just yet, I decided to have him call for pizza.
He studied Mechanical during the wait, then when Agatha came back, they both enjoyed a piece.
Then Gil harvested money trees, and they got to studying -- Gil needs Mechanical, while Agatha needs Creativity. You'll notice I scored a better bed for them. It was time for an upgrade. Especially since they'll be taking it with them.
I also slipped over to Eureka for a new lot -- Buford's Gym. Bit of a bitch to build, as it's situated next to a mountain -- if I turned the camera a certain way, it would suddenly rise up really high (for Sims).
I went with a red theme, and included everything that builds excercise plus a swimming pool. I also added a juice bar at the last minute, figuring the guys deserve to be well-hydrated.
In other Sim-related news, I hate downloading.
-RPD: Pardon? You seemed fairly eager when I talked to you earlier.-
YOU try unzipping and moving each file individually! I downloaded a crapful of stuff from All About Style for Eureka -- all the main characters will be dressed in Victoriana. Townies who marry in will also change their clothes.
-DW: Got names for any of these people yet?-
-MF: Besides the main character of course.-
I do know who I want for the Villagers and Constructs, but I don't have names. Lesse:
Villagers: One family with a child and toddler, a married couple, and a single male
Constructs: One wolf and one fox or skunk
-VD2: Interesting. What about me and Marty?-
Martys? Come to a decision yet?
-M: It is the will of the Marty Council--
*snrrrk*
-M: Come on, I've always wanted to say that -- anyway, we've decided that we like the adoption option. It's an even tie on construct or not, so you can pick.-
-VM: We just ask we look vaguely like ourselves.-
I was thinking either a new skintone or a tail.
-VuM: Facial features unchanged?-
Nope.
-VuM: Go for it.-
Yay. So it's settled -- College-Educated Doc will adopt a Construct Marty.
-OD: How wonderful.-
It is rather sweet.
-OD: Sooo, when do we start the official lineup of sprites?-
Probably Wednesday -- Mom's taking me to the beach tomorrow. I'll do my page of "Gift and Curse" in the morning, though, don't worry.

martyfan talking about SG-1 (they made a flux capacitor mention on 200!), I am sort of curious about Doc and Marty getting stuck in a time loop.
-VD2: Wait, I thought someone was already doing that?-
-DW: Yes, I believe it's called "Tomorrow Never Comes" or something like that.-
That's based on the X-Files episode "Monday." I was thinking more "Window of Opportunity," which is way more humorous.
-RPD: SG-1 fan?-
No, but Ael is. Dunno if it'll ever be written, but it's interesting to think about.
-M: Yeah. Weird, though -- couldn't we just use the time machine to get out of it?-
Well, I was thinking it would be some sort of accident WITH the time machine that gets you stuck.
-M: Oh, right.-
Yeah. Anybody have any thoughts?
Right now, though, I have a written page of "Boy Genius" to finish, and some music to listen to.
